Angry protesters have shut the Governor’s Office at Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital over the killing of another five farmers by armed herdsmen at Aba Oyinbo in Akure North local government area of Ondo State.

LEADERSHIP learnt that the deceased were shot dead in another invasion by the hoodlums in the early hours of Wednesday.

Not pleased by the disposition of the state government to the incessant killings, the angry protesters stormed the Governor’s Office to display the bodies of the casualties of the invasion.

Commuters and motorists on Akure/Owo Road were stranded as protesters assembled in Ogbese where they barricaded the road in protest.

Recall that armed herdsmen had about a fortnight ago killed 20 farmers in four farm settlements in the same local government.

These (laws, principles, guidelines. ..) are walls that reinforced slavery. They are made to strengthen boundaries that make freedom impossible.

Every cat will always make laws to keep rat as prey. Political criminals are not making any law that will deliver us from their wickedness.

Nigerians must disobey the nugatory and oppressive laws of the criminals in power, if truly they desire freedom.

Those who seek freedom know that freedom is only guaranteed by going against the very repressive laws and everything associated with the oppressors in full force.

If Mandela obeyed the laws of the apartheid government, South Africa would still be under the criminal apartheid regime. Nelson Mandela and his group were so recalcitrant toward the apartheid regime that they were labelled a terrorist organisation.

Those who demand respect for crooks in government and their laws are accomplices of the political slavemasters and must be treated as such.

When Funke Olakurin, daughter of Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti was murdered instead of Bola Tinubu to make sure that the perpetrators were brought to book, he ended up making fun of the death of the young lady by turning everything into tribalism by showing his hates for Igbos.

Mrs Olakunrin died of gunshot wounds in July 2019 after her vehicle was attacked by armed men, suspected to be marauding Fulani bandits whose violent activities had reached a frightening level across the southwest states.


Those arrested suspects include Lawal Mazaje, 40, from Felele area of Kogi State; Adamu Adamu, 50, from Jada area of Adamawa State; Mohammed Usman, 26, from Illela area of Sokoto State and Auwal Abubakar, 25, from Shinkafi area of Zamfara State....

However, the leader of the team, identified only as Tambaya, and three others are yet to be found.

Tambaya has been declared wanted by the police and he is said to be capable of communicating in Hausa, Fulfude and Pidgin English.
