His ability to take though decisions since his days as a governor, is the reason why he's President
^^^
The question is this: are the policies working?

Was there a net gain after the events of 29 May 2023? Are Nigerians better off today? Of course not.

Libyans today are questioning the way and manner that maximum ruler Gaddafi was overthrown. Sure enough, his iron fisted, decades long rule was brought to an end, but at what cost to ordinary Libyans?

There's a right way (and a wrong way) to do things. BAT chose the wrong way and we are all paying for it now.

they can’t impeach the governor now. There’s no violence at all. Tinubu shouldn’t have declare state of emergency at all.
Read between the lines. He's trying to AgbadoWash what TInubu did, make it look like it was done to protect Fubura. The same people calling for Fubura's impeachment on seeing that their actions was about to put Rivers up in flames are now trying to claim it was done to protect Fubura. See helinues now switching Agbado tongue to tag the same lawmakers they have been praising as lawbreakers.

You just write because you feel like writing or what is the meaning of this write up now.. When Obasanjo was in power;were you people on exile ? Fubara and his unrepentant opponents have been sent home to have their brains reset .. It is the best decision for this situation .. Whatever meaning you people are reading is inconsequential.. No president will fold his Arms and watch a state being driving to lawlessness... This nonsense must stop

So FG should have allowed the lawbreakers to go ahead with their impeachment notion?
His solution shows his inability and lack of capacity to broker peace between the two warring people. Keep in mind that if the preseident wanted this crisis to stop ab initio, he would have called Wike to order and let him know Fubara is already a governor and the rivers people needs him to work. let Wike leave Fubara alone, look, if Mr president said that, the issue would have been dead and buried a long time ago. But no Mr president and Wike wants the soul of river state to control and share. Well that is why the grass has also started suffering. The President's handlers dont tell him the blunt truth and that is why the consequences of his declaration of the State of emergency will be felt by the whole nation and not only RIvers people. The boys in the creeks warned many times that any attempt to impeach Fubara would erupt their wrath, and they started displaying it yesterday. Like I tell people, you don't say you have power and try to drag a loaded gun with a madman.BAT may have wisdom but his greed pushed him into making such si.lly mistakes

No one wants chaos. However, there is a document that describes the relationship between us all as citizens and constituent parts of the Federation. Any actions taken outside of the Constitution is illegal and the individual who takes that action is subject to impeachment. You should get a copy and read for yourself. Tinubu has no right to do what he did. Moreover, Tinubu is the architect of this crisis, using Wike and that is enough to remove him from office, in countries where citizens are not tribalistic or educated illiterates and want what is good not just for themselevs but for all others. No one is coming to your aid. You alone will decide whether to aid yourself or not.

The fact that Obasanjo got away with that illegality does not mean we should allow Tinubu to get away with it. I like the way Reuban Abati put it : That an Armed Robber got away with robbery does not mean another Armed Robber should insist on going for Robbery and get away with it.

Tomorrow you will come here and cry that a Policeman slapped you and forcefully took your phone or money from you, something that is unconstitutional and illegal.

When you hold your servants who you asked to go and serve you accountable, you do not only preserve public order, you also protect yourself from injury related to unconstitutional actions at the individual level, such as the one I enumerated above, or another man beating you up at the beer parlour because the guy is taller and bigger than you or has more money than you, and you simply lick your wounds and go home and cry and curse Nigeria,

Protect the constitution and the law, so that you may protect yourself.

there's nothing deep there.... Niger Delta is not only river state.... The cheap blackmailing of crude pipeline to threaten the fg because of some fool fighting is what Nigeria Will not take...
Re: Emergency In Rivers: Who Advised President Tinubu To Do This? - Senator Ojudu by NemoDatQuod(m): 1:36pm On Mar 19, 2025
At this stage, the deeper question the people of the Niger Delta should be asking themselves is "what are we doing in Nigeria." "Why is our huge resources being divved up far away and shared with people who are hundreds of miles away and with whom we have no affinity"?

They had an opportunity to destabilise and leave Nigeria in the late 1990s and early 200s. BUt greed and lack of unity of purpose did not allowed them to make effective use of the instruments of violence they accummulated and the armies they raised. They have themselves and no one else to blame.

Tinubu knows he is a failure and wants to win 2027 by all means. Wike has of course promised him Rivers vote (he will rig it as he did before) and of course FCT. And the only way to do this is by holding power in rivers which sim has snatched from him.
Wikes own agenda is that Tinubu hands over to him after his 8yrs and he also needs huge money to achieve it and the only way to get it is by having a "yes boy" as governor.

To your question, Wike is the one that advised him.

I believe everyone is entitled to their opinion, and no one should impose their views on others.

You mentioned that Tinubu acted outside the constitution—well, that is a debatable issue, open to different interpretations. Anyone who feels aggrieved is free to seek legal redress through the courts.

You also alleged that Tinubu is the architect of this problem. Do you have any proof to support this claim? That is not how I see it. I prefer to deal with facts rather than assumptions. And the fact remains that Fubara dismantled the state House of Assembly, which was a key trigger for the events that followed. Yet, in your lengthy argument about how things are run in other parts of the world, you conveniently ignored this critical issue. I despise hypocrisy.

I watched a video where Fubara explicitly stated that the House of Assembly exists only because he allows it to. Is that how democracy should work? Imagine Tinubu declaring on national television that the National Assembly exists at his mercy—how would that be received? You skipped that part as a possible reason why there is serious irreconcilable differences between the Executive and the Legislative Assembly.
You would rather prefer that the legislature submits itself to the Executive! Is that how democracy is practiced in place where according to you things are properly run?
I hate hypocrisy

Furthermore, Fubara unilaterally removed 27 duly elected members of the state Assembly and attempted to govern with just three members. You conveniently skipped that part and chose instead to place the blame on Wike. Again, I despise hypocrisy.

Democracy, everywhere in the world, is about negotiation. Even in the U.S., politicians disagree, engage in power struggles, and negotiate. That is the nature of politics.

I don’t care about the opinion of Abati

The pampers wearing mannequin in Aso rock that counsel Jonathan not to remove the governors of Yobe, Adamawa and Borno is today outing beyond his brief.

Can anyone tell me indicate to me the subsection in 305 that confers such power on the President to suspend a democratically elected Governor
