That is one of the reasons people say Fubara is not smart. Perhaps if he really wanted to pursue that line, he could have waited for them to formalize the process. By not timing it properly, he gave out his intention so the lawmakers probably did not follow through with the process and so Fubara had no documentation to hold onto.

Also, I do not think it was in his place to declare the seat vacant.

Fubara is not the first governor to have issues with his predecessor, why is he the only one demolishing government infrastructure? Kaduna State governor also has issues with El Rufai.
