People talk rubbish once they see one thing they admire abroad. There are 50yr olds over there without wives. In Nigeria here too, there 22,23 year olds with 2,3 kids too

It's called "Minimalistic mentality" otherwise known as "Pea-size Brain". Always using a singular attitude to qualify a group or using a lone street to describe a City state!
A minimalized brain will pick on a single word and expand it to the size of a library! Why? That's the only level at which their Pea-size Brain can effectively operate!

This is not inferiority complex or dust-yarning...

It's hard to see a 24 year old guy getting married in Nigeria talk more of having 3 kids. Most times when it happens, it'll be because of unwanted pregnancy.

But in the west, seeing 19 Yr old getting married to 18 Yr old is rampant.

Or is it about a 24 year old working in a good company that pays prety good? Highest is NNPC with conne, and Telecoms. We don't have enough company that pays good where you can find young people of that age.

So I agree, no be life we dey live here. I was in 3rd year of a 5 years course at 24🤦

Abroad, they have no life and only live to pay bills and taxes. I see adults walking/working like robots and only waiting for their two weeks' vacation and back to their empty robotic life.


Abroad, they have very useless and crappy weather, in my country it gets very dark from 5pm for five months, It get cold below -35 Celsuis and sometimes you wonder what the Bleep you are even doing here. I lived in my home for ten years without talking to my Neighbours and everyone goes out of their ways to avoid each other.

Abroad, I go out on the street and everywhere is silent like a cemetery, sometimes I have to pinch myself to realize I am still alive. It is fvucking monotonous and boring.

Abroad, you can become homeless very quickly if you are unable to pay your bills, the past 6 months, I was paying about N7m per month ion mortgages and bills and there are no excuses.

Abroad, people are always tensed up, you cannot afford to fall sick as your bills continue to come in the mail, no one really cares about you in the real sense of the world, over 99% of the smiles are fake and I have learnt those fake smiles. You are taxed for everything.

Nigeria and Africa are the place to be if you want to enjoy but you must have money.

Of course not. America is a first world country; Nigeria is 3rd world (a world is assumed to be 100yrs apart from the other). So we are 300 years behind civilization! It can't be the same.

Malaysia, Qatar, UAE, Singapore...these are 3rd world as well but can you compare the standard of living in Nigeria with any of these?

I understand you sha. Our case is different because we are not a nation in the true sense of it like Singapore et al.

Malaysia is made up of Malays, Chinese, Indians, Iban, Dusun etc so diversity is not an issue, we are not just ready for governance.
