download pi browser and login, then go to profile. Click on it and you'll see a search option. Input the username and search, then follow and send friend request

I recently came across a YouTube video on how to boost pi mining rate. It's quite simple, from your pi browser, click on profile, then accept any pending request, and also send out requests by entering someone's pi username, equally follow this same pi user. As we build followers and friendship, it increases our mining rates so far this friends and followers are actively mining. Pi is all about the COMMUNITY.

Pi really is all about community. Still, to boost your mining rate, you need active miners in your referral and security circle.

It's a bit tricky, I think you can only successfully add as a part of a security circle when about to begin a new mining session.

It doesn't increase mining rate, what increases mining rate is when your referral and security circle are actively mining. To achieve this, when about to begin a new mining session, select add up existing pi users, when successful, and if they are active miners only then can your mining rate be increased.
