"Tinubu has once again proven that power is not for the weak! His decisive action in Rivers State has sent shockwaves across the political landscape. Fubara, who thought he could defy the forces that made him, has now been shown the true weight of authority! You don’t bite the hand that feeds you and expect to go scot-free.

To those hailing Tinubu and Wike today, where were you when this crisis was brewing? You cheered as Fubara played the victim, but when the hammer fell, reality humbled him! Governance is not a child’s play—Tinubu has reminded everyone who truly calls the shots in this country.

Love him or hate him, this move will be remembered as a masterstroke in political power play!"

Wike and Fubara go soon settle their differences.

This is just a normal political game.

Jagaban is a bold president.

Even me no believe say he fit just hammer everywhere like this and nobody fit zuzu.

Power is Power! Jagaban sabi use am.

But I think the National Assembly might override the president tomorrow. Let’s see how it goes.

We await the vote tomorrow. Anywhere if falls, life continue.

It will be very hard for Wike to accept whatever agreement he will be coming with....

He was barely three months into being a governor when he started fighting Wike..... The man who bought his governorship tickets and campaigned for him... Used his personal funds to ensure that he wins and immediately he won, he started biting the finger that made him who he was.....

He's a very useless man..... He deserves all the troubles.....

Same way Ambode fought a man that made him a global figure.....

And I can bet that Fubara would still seal a deal with the FG within that 6 months.

Looking at it in a different way, Tinubu gave Fubara a lifeline. He would have likely been impeached.

Comparing the useless failure to Abacha is an insult on Abacha memory . Nigerian economy and armed forces was very strong under Abacha. ECOMOG troops under Abacha stabilized the entire west Africa and ended the war in Liberia and Sierra lone butt mandate thief is only good at eating ewedu, putting on his juju cap and agbada and dancing owambe while terrorists capture and execute Nigerian soldiers, his supporters dying in droves in the hands of killers herdsmen while his quack incompetent team dish out bolekaja polices on a collapsing country daily

Great president Tinubu made the right decision by cool down the tension in rivers.
The governor will comeback alongside with the assembly members.
By that time they will get along, and good governance will return to rivers people.
Tinubu is a wise man

Abacha was not removed when he started tough but when he became the sole presidential candidate of all political parties.

Tilumbu has got it coming

There's a difference between dictatorship and democracy. In dictatorship, you make whatever laws/decrees/constitution you like, and rule by them

In democracy, you pledge to rule by the constitution you were elected

Tinubu being decisive isn't the issue, that's what he was elected for. The question is, did he follow the constitution?

Declaring state of emergency isn't the issue, Nigeria is 6th most insecure country on earth, 4 out of 6 geopolitical zones have serious security challenges. Tinubu can declare state of emergency in up to 20 states based insecurity alone

The question is, does the constitution give the President to dismiss democratically elected officials such as Governors, while declaring state of emergency? Is there anywhere in sections 305 that gives the President any power to dismiss a democratically elected person?

If there isn't, then the President has circumventing the constitution and become a dictator

There is nothing to cheer about that
