Atiku has just one dream - to be president by all means necessary. His presence in that coalition means it would be difficult to have any meaningful progress, as everyone knows that he reserves the presidential candidate slot.

Secondly, not very many people trust El Rufai, of course because of his antecedents.

Interestingly though, Tinubu is a very smart politician and understands the game no doubt. Otherwise, considering the poor state of the country, anybody should be able to beat him at the polls. But again, we are a very docile people.

Tinubu understands the game, but still can't do without people putting their all for him. If people do not make it easy for him, he won't be president too.

First, Buhari paved the way for him by not having a special candidate and also did not interfere in the selection process in APC primaries.

Tinubu was able to win the last time because the north gave him their support. This time, that support is way diminished. His inability to mend fences with El Rufai will be an icebreaker. Tinubu got more than 4m votes from the North, I don't see this happening now.

After Tinubu assisted him to become Ekiti governor at his first term. He quickly turned against Tinubu and Tinubu just ignore him after all the total budget of Ekiti for 5 years is still less than Kagis budget for a single year.

At Fayemi’s re-election bid after sidelining Tinubu, dumb Fayemi as a sitting governor lost in all the 18 Locsl Governments of his State. I have never heard about such a dullard. That was how he was sent packing from government house.
