Lol, who dey compare GoT with any of these new fantasy shows dey whine themselves. They just don't come close even GoT worst seasons they can't lace its shoes. Only one to be close to that height is still an extension of GoT — House of The Dragon.

I spent hours yesterday on YouTube watching videos about Space and the Universe...

Omo people underestimate how crazy it is that we have telescopes today that can see things Millions of Light years away...

We can see things that far, but we can't travel there lol...

How far Astronomy has gone is outstanding...yet we still haven't explored anywhere in the Universe. We know about so many planets but we can't visit them...

Elon Musk's plan to nuke Mars to create a second home for humans by raising the temperature in Mars... sounds crazy...

Learnt so much about the Fermi paradox and the various theories on it.

The one that scares me the most is the Dark Forest Theory from "3 body problem" if you've seen the Netflix series...and the books in particular...

When you start researching on Astronomy, you realize how small and minute we are on Earth compared to how vast the universe is...

Basically the theory states that there are many alien civilizations in the universe but they are all quiet because they fear that they might be attacked and wiped out by a technologically superior civilization.

Anybody that reveals it's location like Earth did in the novels/Netflix series might be attacked and wiped out.

Our Voyager 1 launched since 1977 is still just about 22 Light hours away from Earth sha despite travelling at crazy speed of 61,500km/hr for over 48 years now...

Meanwhile there are many planets Millions of Light years away from Earth.

But na the radio signals we sent to space worse pass sha...them fit trace am back to us

Make we no go get "Three Body Problem in Real Life" because na the same radio signals the aliens use trace earth for that series

I don't see much benefit to his plan to build civilization on Mars tbh...

There are too many X factors...

I understand that he wants it to be a second home for humans if something happens to earth, say Earth is no longer safe for humans or we deplete our resources on Earth or we get attacked by aliens...

But I don't see how Nuking Mars will work-

1. If you nuke Mars, there is no guarantee that it will ever become safe for humans

2. We have places on Earth that were nuked decades ago and are still toxic due to Nuclear reaction like Hiroshima

3. Even if his plan works and temperature on Mars changes to be fit for humans, how long will that last before Mars returns to default while people may already be settling there...

4. If Earth gets destroyed by an Alien civilization, Mars is already close by, so nothing stops them from doing the same to Mars...

5. All he has on Nuking Mars are theories and not facts. No one really knows for sure what will happen if you nuke an entire planet...
There may be serious effects to our Solar system...too risky

6. It's far safer to expend those resources into saving Earth than gambling on Mars
