BREAKING! Court Restrains INEC From Receiving Petition For Recall Of Natasha by Jatuski(op): 9:59am On Mar 21, 2025
The Federal High Court sitting at Lokoja on Thursday, 20th March, 2025, granted an interim injunction restraining the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) from receiving petition for the purpose of initiating a re-call process against Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan as Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The competent Court also restricted INEC staff, agents, privies or assigns from accepting or acting on any petition containing fictitious signatures of purported members of Kogi Central Senatorial District and conducting any referendum upon such pending the determination of the Motion on Notice to the same effect.

The court, according to the order paper made available to newsnen Friday morning, granted the application following an Ex-parte application for interim injunction supported by an Affidavit of Extreme urgency together with other court processes sworn to by Anebe Jacob Ogirima for himself and four others who are registered voters and constituents of Kogi Central Senatorial District of Kogi state.

The application was moved by Smart Nwachimere, Esq of West-Idahosa, SAN & Co.

The case has been adjourned to 6th May, 2025 for report of service and further mention.

Reacting to the development, a pressure group, Action Collective, praised the judiciary for granting the order.

The group's coordinator, Dr. Onimisi Ibrahim, said in his reaction that "the order will further expose impunity of some sponsored individuals behind the failed plot to recall Senator Natasha."

The judiciary is doing a lot of damage to this country. These folks cannot be poking their noses into everything.

How about striking out cases brought before them when the case is absurd? If the people who elected Natasha think they want to recall her, why should the judiciary stop them?

This question should be for those who insist Natasha is an 'innocent victim' being preyed upon by 'monster' Akpabio rather than a cynical, calculative, opportunist, money-chasing, clout-worshipping and deliberately wayward Jezebel who knows how to play gullible folks, especially men, and the system to get her ways.

She has now gone to buy an injunction from a corrupt judge, as guilty Nigerian politicians do, to escape democratic justice as they have been doing since the days of Odili. What say you now supporters of Senator Jezebel jam Delilah Natasha?

Why should any judge interfere with the recall power of those who put Natasha in her Senatorial job when such is a sacrosanct aspect of democracy and the inalienably automatic right of the electorate?

Lol I thought the people lining up for her recall are deceived...

So why running to court and been scared..

At least she should be sure that the people who voted for her are ready to stand beside her and make the recall fail....

Meanwhile, Nigeria doesn't have a National Assembly presently, We only have a gathering of clowns, Tinubu's slaves, Executive stooges, Breakers of the law they were supposed to protect, History will remember them as the worst rubber-stamp National Assembly Nigeria ever had.

Very anyhow people with no shame at all.

Precisely. There has been loads of videos where supposedly "deceived" folks seeking Senator Natasha's recall have clarified her sins and confirmed their effort is deliberate and driven by the desire for better representation than Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan is providing.

Nigerians, especially men, are still in the dark and rudimentary age of thinking women deemed as beautiful can do no wrong. Natasha, as the ultimate vindictive narcissist and destructive liar, who tried to mess up Reno Omokri with wild fabrications, has gone from one f*ck up to another because she is obsessed with nailing Uduaghan who is no longer giving her face and privileges perhaps because he has found another sweeter toto to replace milf Tasha.

Nairalanders should go and educate themselves well to note all Natasha's female colleagues in the Senate are not rushing forward to support her because some have boldly alleged that, when the going was good between them, Natasha was the favourite of Akpabio who got privileges others dare not contemplate.

Smart, exposed, winning and urbane men know that this is just a case of a woman scorned now showing more vindictive fury than anything that can come out of Hell.

See how we are getting distracted in this country with one thing or the other that is not important....

Instead of the federal Government to concentrate on giving and sending incentives to the Super Eagles in far away Kigali so as to beat Rwanda and put us back on the table for world cup qualification (since football brings joys to many Nigerians) , they are busy with playing to the gallery of one tyrant in Abuja and 27 house boy-boy!

Now its natasha case n Akpabio...na wa oo

Being passionate about goodness prevailing, for the betterment of society, is not anger. Being dismissive of deliberate and proven wrongdoers (Natasha's false claim against Omokri) who cynically prey on the gender/religious/ethnic bias of Nigerians is not anger either.

Yet a typical empty Nigerian male, who stands for nothing to then fall for everything, can never understand the passion of others to see good prevail over evil.
