Political coalitions in Nigeria often face challenges due to differing ideologies and ambitions. While alliances can be strategic, history shows that internal disagreements often lead to their collapse. It remains to be seen how this new coalition will navigate such obstacles. |

mrvitalis:You are politically naive, and your analysis shows a lack of political depth. This is why your political predictions and analysis always fail. You had the same failed political predictions in the 2023 elections, and the same thing will likely happen in 2027. |

It's obvious Tinubu is jittery and knows the end is near by 2027. Either Atiku or Obi will send him packing. Thus the reason his son Seyi- the drunkard was being sent on an errand across geopolitical spectrum now. |

By 2027, only Lagos APC will be left with Tinubu. By then, let us see how he will win. CPC buhari also understand what coalition means after he lost 3 times |

Common man is never in the picture. The reasons for coalition are not primarily for the benefit of citizens, but for their ambitions. |

mrvitalis:The only way Tinubu will be booted out is if Atiku becomes the presidential candidate and Obi deputizing him. I am a strong Obidient but politics is not all about emotions. If Obi becomes the presidential candidate, Tinubu will sponsor a candidate in the north to make sure that who doesn't vote for him will vote for the candidate. An Igbo man can not be president of Nigeria from Opposition. I am an Igbo guy from Enugu, residing in Anambra and have not gone out of south east. They have to also form a merger and not coalition. Anything outside this will automatically play in the hands of tinubu once again. |

Gandollar:I like this comment. Atiku was naive in the last election. He would not have allowed Obi to leave PDP, and he would have ceded PDP structure to Wike and the G-5 governors but instead he stuck with Ayu with no political value while banking on the cabals to deliver him. If he had made peace with Wike, He would have been occupying Aso Rock by now. I am sure he won't make such mistakes. They should form a merger, where Atiku will be the flag bearer and Obi the deputy. They should woo Kwankwaso, Saraki and Tambuwaal. With that Tinubu is a gonner |
| Re: How Atiku, Obi, El-rufai’s Coalition May Play Out - Daily Trust by bigiyaro(m): 1:47pm On Mar 21, 2025 |
The simple question is, do they have money to buy INEC and the supreme Court? Do they have money to buy amala and Talia? If they have, then we will see atiku and obi in aso rock. |

adioolayi:I am an Obidient, but I would like to see Atiku/Obi ticket. Obi should swallow his pride and deputize Atiku. A common northerner doesn't know of any agreement and would hardly vote for a southerner and an Igbo man. An igbo man can not be president from opposition. If Obi emerges, Tinubu will sponsor a northern candidate like that will collect votes that he won't get. My opinion. The collective aim is to boot Tinubu out of office |
