This is what happens with poor education.

The operative phrase is “state of emergency”. To save you having to go back to school to learn this with 10-15 yr olds, it means the normal rules don’t apply. That’s why for instance your freedom of movement can be restricted during a state of emergency. Abi was it not the same civilian democracies all over the world you like to report to where curfews were imposed during the covid emergency?

You didnt have a problem when 3 people were passing illegal budgets excluding the input and interests of 27 constituencies? maybe if you did we wouldnt have come to this.

Why release the funds now? Are the local government elections now held? Why not release the funds to Fubara if you can release it to the Sole Administrator?

You should rather agree that that sole administrator stuff is an aberration,, an absurdity.

In any normal society there must be fiscal responsibility, accountability and financial oversight..

In this 21st century you cannot release money to a sole admin to spend without anyone checkmating him.

Even Tinubu cannot spend money like that without appropriation and oversight by the house..

At worst the sole administrator should be made to submit a budget to the national assembly during emergency rule.

The fund was seized because budget was not presented and passed by the state assembly and local government councils not having elected officials. My question is whether if these conditions have been met?
I personally think that this emergency is just to stop Fubara from conducting the local government elections the election time table is out the sole administrator will oversee the election and Wike preferred candidates will cruise to victory because no one will challenge them since Fubara is on exile in Bayelsa. Don't forget state political structure is the essential bone of contention in their fight any other thing is secondary.
