This is the educational figures of the regions in Nigeria from 1940 till 1966. Notice that Eastern region overtook the Western region from 1940 till the civil war. The only time the west haf more numbers was in 1955 when Awo introduced free education. Which the real aim of free education was to catch up with the east in terms of education numbers.

There is nothing like yoruba. We have ijebu, egba, Ife, Oyo, Ekiti, awori, ijesha etc.

Yoruba is a term used by outsiders to describe the children oor oduduwa. our languages though similar are even different.
