Former President Goodluck Jonathan has criticized President Bola Tinubu’s decision to suspend elected officials in Rivers State, calling it a move that could damage the country’s reputation.

Jonathan expressed his disappointment at the removal of Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and all members of the state House of Assembly for six months.

While speaking as the Chairman at the Haske Satumari Foundation Colloquium in Abuja on Saturday, Jonathan said he was disappointed that elected officials had been removed.

Tinubu is the president and he will do what he thinks is best for the country.

As for Jonathan, he should just focus on his own presidency and stop talking about Tinubu.
