In a thrilling and unexpected moment before the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup qualifier match between Nigeria's Super Eagles and Rwanda's national team, The Wasps, fans turned the pre-training session into a mini party. As the teams warmed up ahead of the crucial encounter, the stadium erupted in a wave of excitement as Nigerian music superstar Davido’s hit song "Aye" played over the loudspeakers. In a remarkable show of enthusiasm, Rwandan fans, including their president, joined in singing and dancing to the chart-topping Afrobeat tune. The atmosphere momentarily transformed into a musical concert, with thousands in the stands swaying and vibing to the infectious rhythm. Despite the electrifying start to the evening, the Super Eagles silenced the home crowd with a dominant display on the pitch. Nigerian star striker Victor Osimhen led the charge with two fantastic strikes, sealing a 2-0 victory for the visitors and strengthening their position in the World Cup qualification race. The match may have been a crucial decider for both teams, but the unforgettable pre-game scenes proved that football is more than just a sport—it’s a celebration of culture, music, and unity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qiOgf83PTHE

Just imagine the kind of stadia small Rwanda is building. What makes Nigeria the giant of Africa again? Nigeria is gone; we are just not honest enough to admit it |

Partial report is tantamount to bad reporting. Firstly, no single video of one fan vividly singing along. From the video provided, they were going about with other things. Secondly, the president was not at the beginning of the match. he came in half way into the first half and there was an uproar because of his presence. The echo in the stadium must have confused you to think they were singing along or it could be from the Nigerian fans, of course you agree we can be very loud to establish our presence. Thank you and I stand to be corrected |

SmartPolician:You are correct bro! Don't mind our leaders, they are too disorganized with misplaced priorities. What stops a serious govt from giving out a facility maintenance contract to a private/foreign firm and that takes care of the issue. Abuja stadium has become a hub of rats, birds and rodents. |
