Mariangeles:That is a big mistake most Nigerians are making, food is fuel for the body to acheive your goals in life. In the nextv10 years your body will tell you. How forefathers thousands of years were hunters gatherers and they eat for fuel and energy. I was at a high end restaurant last night and Iwhen I was given a menu, I tried hard to maintain my diet. I was able to order my food plus tequila and iced water. I felt very good and it was my only food yesterday. I can basically eat anything I want but I realized my body will pay for it 10years down the lane

Nnamdipapa:Nnamdipapa, Which age range should consider this your diet ? |
| Re: My Carnivore Diet Journey Day 7 by Nnamdipapa(op): 9:32pm On Mar 22, 2025 |
doggedfighter:Once you clock 40, you have to be extremely careful with what you eat. If you are below 40, your blood sugar and BP is abnormal high, than this diet is for you. If you are overweight and looking to become fit and energetic, This diet is the solution. |

Nnamdipapa:I enjoy what I crave, then burn it off through intermittent fasting, before going again. 😀 I was at a high end restaurant last night and Iwhen I was given a menu, I tried hard to maintain my diet. This portion is okay compared to the ones you eat. Your portions make me 😰. Especially the beef and eggs. I don't like seeing large portion of food, for some reason. 😕 |

Mariangeles:But I eat only once a day around 4pm. Hahahhaa Are you saying those portions are too large? My wife just bought a full box of yam and tempting me seriously, I believe I will overcome. I am adding fish today. |

Nnamdipapa:I might want to take on this diet but I've got issues with taking down beef meat .. Can one do this with like let's say chicken meat or fish?? |
| Re: My Carnivore Diet Journey Day 7 by DeeScan: 11:32pm On Mar 22, 2025 |
Nnamdipapa:Whatever you do for work must never be strenuous .. Cause I'm wondering how you eat just once in a day.. |

Nnamdipapa:I don't know about others, but I'd rather eat little portions through the day, than one large portion. May I not gag.😩 As for the yam, you know you want to.🙂 Fish is light, and easy to digest. |

DeeScan:I have more energy than when I eat 3 meals a day. I have the same level of energy from when I wake up till 11pm when I retire, that is what surprises me. I always used to get tired when I eat a lot and trust me, I have all the food in the world at my house. My teenage kids eat a lot. I do hard work, 2 hours work out in the gym everyday and still have lots of energy to work and be productive. Also, the way I think is now different, it was like a fog was removed from my brain and I can now think crisp and clearly. |

Mariangeles:Have you checked your wheigh, height and BMI recently? |
| Re: My Carnivore Diet Journey Day 7 by Nnamdipapa(op): 11:55pm On Mar 22, 2025 |
DeeScan:Yes, I eat steak, port, lamb, fish, especially Tuna which is rich in fat. I also eat lots of prawns. I feel better than 20years ago right now and I am not even exergerating. |
| Re: My Carnivore Diet Journey Day 7 by Nnamdipapa(op): 11:57pm On Mar 22, 2025 |
Mariangeles:I want the yam but to succeed in life, you don't always go for what you crave for. That is self discipline. I cook soup for my kids without tasting, I ask my daughter to taste for me. I don't take any kind of vegetable oil or palm oil. |

This diet and being careful about what you eat is more important in Nigeria more than anywhere in the world, considering our Healthcare system is not advanced yet and emergency medicine is basically non-existent. Don't wait until there is an emergency to start taking care of your life and health. |

This was today, I could not wait for the fish to come out of the airfryer. It was so delicious of my tummy is full. Air fried fishes are so tasty, the last time I pan fried Tuna in butter, I hated the taste, now I will always air fry tuna/fish. I lost two pounds this morning on the scale and quite exited. My goal is 10 more pounds. I may even try steak and butter in Airfryer tomorrow and see how it turns out. Almost one month, no bread, rice, sugar, vegetable oil, palm oil, eba, every kind of processed or natural sugar. I only cook with butter or Ghee and, o boy, I am on a roller coaster of the best experience of my life. I also cut breakfast, will never have breakfast in my life ever. I always give my body the chance to burn the last meal before eating anything else. I also stopped beers, red wines and any kind of sugary drinks, I stick with spirits like vodka and tequila in water and Ice.

Nnamdipapa:I heard about this diet but I'm against all diets because it may or may not become a fad! I do intermittent fasting so I have all of my days calories in one meal. I hope this works for you long term! I think a balanced diet is the way to go while controlling your calories! I ate 1 300 calories a day in a 1 hour window and I have lost 15kg over 6 months and now I'm eating 1500 to maintain my weight. I love eating once a day but in that hour I make sure to take in fibre, carbz, and protein. I eat fruits because I burn those extra calories by being active. I worry about your cholesterol and constipation on the carnivore diet. How's it going for you interms of toilet movements? |
| Re: My Carnivore Diet Journey Day 7 by Nnamdipapa(op): 8:04pm On Mar 30, 2025 |
Double0h7:I agree with you, I have now modified my diet to make it more Keto while still cutting out all carbs/Sugars and processed food. I did that to get more fibres for my stomach digestion. This is what my meals look like now for the past one week, I still eat once a day and never hungry in-between meals.

Nnamdipapa:That looks nutrient! You need fibre to move your bowels. I love that you're experimenting and you'll find what works for your body! What you cut out as far as processed foods and sugar is awesome. I think fruits and veg are part of a healthy diet. Carbz are tricky and I think we could do without it but veg and fruits are so good for you especially when you cut out processed carbz. |

I'm not gonna lie though! I'm addicted to rice and pasta and controlling my calories is the only thing I could do long term because I just love! Carbz 😂 |
