I can’t speak on this matter as I am not a Kogite and didn’t vote for her in the first place. However, if those who did vote for her now choose to initiate a recall, as long as they are acting within their constitutional rights, I have no objection.

The only people with a legitimate reason to feel aggrieved are the Kogites who supported her election but oppose her recall. They have every right to challenge the process and explore lawful means to resist it.

Beyond that, if you are not a Kogite and still oppose the recall, then you are either not a true democrat or simply a hypocrite who complains only when a process doesn’t align with your narrative.

They can get it. All they need is the INEC to the names, then APC governor in the state plus Yahaya Bello there to support the course and it's over for her.

SECTION 69 OF THE 1999 NIGERIAN CONSTITUTION AS AMMENDED (RECALL OF A LEGISLATOR)

69. A member of the Senate or of the House Representatives may be recalled as such a member if -
(a) there is presented to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission a petition in that behalf signed by more than one-half of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency alleging their loss of confidence in that member; and
(b) the petition is thereafter, in a referendum conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission within ninety days of the date of receipt of the petition, approved by a simple majority of the votes of the persons registered to vote in that member's constituency.

68. (1) A member of the Senate or of the House of Representatives shall vacate his seat in the House of which he is a member if -

(h) the President of the Senate or, as the case may be, the Speaker of the House of Representatives receives a certificate under the hand of the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission stating that the provisions of section 69 of this Constitution have been complied with in respect of the recall of that member.
(2) The President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives, as the case may be, shall give effect to the provisions of subsection (1) of this section, so however that the President of the Senate or the Speaker of the House of Representatives or a member shall first present evidence satisfactory to the House concerned that any of the provisions of that subsection has become applicable in respect of that member.

A senator that only won by a small margin in the elections would be recalled very easily, the only thing that stopped previous recalls has been the senator president refusing to allow the recall motion to be read on the floor, that was what Saraki did for Dino.

But in this case it they ge required number of voters in Kogi Central to sign the recall petition she is gone.

Getting the signatures of 50% of REGISTERED voters is not beans. In most cases less than 20% vote.

It's a politically motivated recall they'll have 50%+1, remember things are volatile in ebira land at the moment, Yahaya Bello has his own EFCC issue, Ododo has consolidated on power, the ohinohi of Ebira land has a court contest for his throne, and Natasha had a fierce battle to win her elections. I think all these dynamics don't favour her when it comes to national politics.

The SP was her political sponsor and godfather, she's now without his support but rather in open conflict she has no capacity to survive, her actions would have infuriated the executive and presidency who otherwise have no beef in this issue but her unreserved public engagements with international news media wouldn't please them.
