The eastern gate is a solid 8/10 for me.

One word for this series is unbelievable.
There are Only few series out there this year with an unexpected and unbelievable twists like this spy series.
I think spy series are now becoming one of my favourites genre.

I thought to myself that i should step away from the main American/British/south Korea/Spanish series and branch into polish series.
This will be the second polish series i have seen now and both were very solid.

Anyways the eastern gate is a polish spy drama that talks about the tension, conspiracy between Poland, Nato, Belarus and Russia.

You have to pay attention to dialogues, body movements and facial expressions because that's only when you will understand the series better.
But prepare for the shock of your life when you get to the last episode and then you begin to question the concept of love and trust when it comes to a relationship with a woman.

I honestly can't wait for the season 2.

There's always this typa way i feel when Jinwoo is in battle. Show producers no even bother to play intro song in this episode, they went straight to business. Best Episode so far. They just keep raising the bar every freaking time.

It follows different people researching Astronomy in 15th century Poland.

Back then people who researched or held theories on Heliocentrism were being persecuted by the Church. Heliocentrism is basically the belief that the Sun is the center of the Universe and the earth and other planets rotate around the sun.

The church believed in Geocentrism (that the Earth is the center of the universe and all other celestial bodies rotated around the Earth).

Many of the Heliocentric researchers were being tortured by Inquisitors working for the church, hung to death and burned at the stake. They were accused of being led by the devil while the women were seen as witches.
