Nah, JJK squandered its potential when it decided to become a powerscaler manga after the Shibuya arc.

Wasted characters, plot points that led nowhere, worldbuilding that went nowhere, main characters that went through the whole manga without having a character arc, protagonists losing 50 battle IQ to prolong the final flight, etc.

Gege introduced some really cool characters and concepts that got our hopes up but somehow kinda lost the plot asking the way. Still a fantastic first project and I'm looking forward to his future stuff.

True jjk had it flaws but putting in the same category as solo levelling is where I draw the line. You said it yourself "cool characters and concepts. I mean the students from the other school apart from toji didn't do shit and I actually felt sorry for them. There were some plot holes and unresolved issues like nobara and the gravity/black hole girl. Still a solid anime though.

Solo Leveling's writing is brainrot and JJK is miles ahead in every way.

The series will made it because
1. unique Art Style
2. Character Development
3. storytelling
4. The backstories, motivations, Themes, friendships, relationships, Villains pov etc

A lot of the storytelling and character development was in the fight scenes. How do you tell the Hyuga clan without the Naruto vs Neji fight? How does Gaara progress as a character without his fights against Lee and Naruto? How do you do Rock Lee's iconic weight drop without him fighting Gaara?
How do we understand Sasuke's motivation to join Orochimaru without watching his struggles in his fights?

yes, 80% of the storytelling happens in the fight scenes, we both know that if it 20mins, the fight will only take 5mins and 15mins backstory that shows that the writer knows what he’s doing and the series didn’t fit this topic


But boruto has the fight scene but didn’t makes it to top 20 because it was rushed and lacks depth in storytelling so I believe my Naruto will stay in top 20 with or without the fight scenes

Less than 25% of the fights in the show include large backstory segments.
In addition to that, most of the backstory or flashbacks work in context with the fights the characters are having. The fights are the significant events that drive the storytelling and character development of the show.
If I asked you to name your top 10 moments from Naruto, they would be from the fight scenes.
You can continue to try to spin this any way you wish but take away the fight scenes from any action show and it loses 90% of its appeal.
