Nobody go teach Nigerians before Dem begin build upward. Let them continue to build individual scattered bungalows everywhere forgetting that land is not an inexhaustible renewable resource. It will get to a stage where a regular one bedroom flat will cost #2m on average at the rate we're wasting land. No public parks or arboretum, just concrete jungles everywhere

China did not start after being rich. They were building something everyday. Even when they were poor.. Our problem in this country is that we build nothing.
Start somewhere. Some Individual are already building 5 storeys all over Onitsha.
With a little government help, few can build 20 storeys.
Let them start somewhere..

It's because government provided lands, that's why investors keyed into mini sized buildings.
Let government also fulfill it's responsibility by providing 24/7 light, you will be shocked to see skyscrapers in Igbo land.

We placed a bet to see if he would be impressed when he comes into the city.

They are right to ban.... Because most people do not do EIA's before embarking on a project... Cities very close to water level need the required expertise to handle high rises.

Most cities in Europe have midsized buildings like Owerri
