Are you not aware it was the frustration from the president of the senate from giving attention of focus on law making regarding her constituent that lead to this?

Are you also saying that the periodic allocation to senators for this same constituency project should then be squandered and not encouraged to be used the way she has? Have you compared what she has done with senators like her? can't you see how above average even when the projects are temporary cushions compared to the real solutions law making and enforcement need to sustain development?

Well, it is left to the people. If they don't see the good she has done in such a short time to expose the depth of allocations to their senatorial district(s) an allow non-state elements into the reign of positions of responsible leadership it will always be their cup of tea, they will have to organize more 30-day type rants in future. Who sees a good thing and rejects it? is it not the illiteracy affecting the people like this, when the elite deliberately keep them from knowledge, making them easily deceived by mere rice grains than lasting justice (which needs not only laws but relentless enforcement of order for growth long term).

While I agree vehemently with you, you have to understand that the scope of their project is highly dependent on the funds availed to them as allocated periodically (probably monthly, but the data is out there). Also, it isn't their main function to do these things by the way as they are lawmakers. These projects are traditionally the responsibility of the executive arm of Nigeria's democracy, they are the ones the scrutiny of standards of delivery and quality should be probed against.

Having said that, these funds are allocated to senators representing their senatorial district and she has been a standout (it is just not publicly advertised but the people know quite well), when you compare the sheer volume of what she has done, and quality in comparison to other senator. Easily Top 10% percentile especially within the timeframe she's done it. Some elements feel the allocation allocated to do these things should not be spent on the right thing because they would rather want the funds to be misappropriate and shared within them. To them they are loosing money, misplaced entitlement unjust, corrupt and opaque system the culture of corporate governance practiced here has encourage is only fighting back.

I would say if the people can't see it, let them remain blind but I forget that the players want them blind and are actively blinding them to enrich themselves.
