Doesn't matter... No amount of coalition will unseat Tinubu. The time for this was 2023... That was a huge opportunity missed due to the greed and hunger for power of Atiku. Tinubu is not soft hearted Jonathan... He is ruthless and cunning, coupled with how massively divided the citizens are. Add that to the corrupt and severely compromised electoral body and Judiciary, and you'll see that Nigeria is well within the firm grip of APC and Jagaban. Nigeria has officially become the personal property of Tinubu, just like Lagos. I wish you all good luck... Y'all will need it in the coming seasons of this unfolding drama. ![]() |

Atiku should rest abeg. Imagine bringing back a Northerner after 8 years of Buhari. Even me, a southeasterner will vote Tinubu over Atiku. We know the leadership of Tinubu is not that good but Atiku will destroy this country in his guest to revenge those that has wronged him when he become the president. If not to deal with his enemies, why the hell is he still thinking of being Nigerian president? |

omowolewa:Very funny, no coalition with Atiku in it that he will step down for anybody. No coalition with Obi it that the North will support, if you like make Buhari his vice, he will lose. Here's the the problem, the North will only agree on two conditions, one, they take immediate power, or two allow Tinubu to complete his 8 years and it returns to them, a new Southerner means another 8 years. Now, the real power house is Atiku and Obi, if Atiku leaves PDP, he will lose 50 percent of his support, if Obi leaves, it's the same. The best time for this coalition would have been before the last election, even if they lose, by now they would be speaking with one voice and it would be easier to defeat Tinubu, now, they can't even get a headway before 2026, even if they do, the political alignment will be difficult to understand and they will lose. |

Tinubu is not going anyway. After his 8 years he will want to become God father of Nigeria and install his boy or maybe Seyi Tinubu as President just like he is doing in Lagos. Na there gan gan the battle go start. |

Is that supposed to be a joke.... ??Atiku , Amaechi nd El Rufai, l never see any politician in Nigeria aside Wike who dey very very ambitious and can do anything for power like those two . Both Atiku and El Rufai plus Amaechi na Dem gan gan ni go make the coalition work |

Tinubu moved the 2011 coalition to oust Jonathan. It didn't work because of his VP ambition. In 2015, he jettisoned the ambition for a possible Amilokan in 2023 and it worked! Alhaji Atiku don't have that luxury of time and will be desperate so therefore, the coalition is DoA! |

The two candidate that can challenge Tinubu is Atiku and Obi merger. Others will be wasting of time and energy. |

omowolewa:You're right; they will negotiate with Obi for one term, but he won’t like the offer. Even if Obi accepts it, they will be ready to frustrate him before 2031. The best time for Obi was 2023, but unfortunately, Atiku killed that dream. |
| Re: Coalition Talks Face Hurdles As Atiku’s Bid, Zoning Threaten Negotiations by Enemyofpeace: 6:34pm On Mar 24, 2025 |
alimiadedayo1:honestly, I will prefer Obi to be the person. Atiku is old and he will only come there to recover all the money he has been spending since God knows when. El-Rufai is an extremist and a jihadist, Nigeria won't be safe in his hands. Moreover, the north made us to be where we are today. |

mayorcassa977:Atiku/Obi ticket got so much votes then because it was against a Buhari/Osinbajo then in 2019 it cannot get the same number of votes as before or defeat a Tinubu/Shetima ballot but ironically a Obi/Atiku ballot can be persuasive but can that ever happen over Atiku dead body ?? ![]() The best time for Atiku to run with a seemly better chance is 2027. The best chance for Obi to run is 2027 so as not to lose his relevance against 2031 when he could most likely win if he keep up appearances ![]() Either way they are both losers against Tinubu in 2023 and next in 2027. Peter Obi shouldn't have ran in 2023 and by now in 2027 he could have won but impatient and self-centeredness would not let him think straight.....he should have just rode the wave of 2023 and find an excuse like that he doesn't trust inec to drop off or those times that he couldn't fill up venues again to claim he being denied chance to campaign and therefore leave the race but what did the fraudster do he went to Lagos to campaign on the road adding go-slow to already standstill Road traffic to "show" that he had crowd as if its by crowds or votes ![]() |

The Permanent Presidential Candidate Atiku Abubakar should be asked to take a seat. Power must remain in the South for 8 yrs instead let Tinubu continue. |

Why should anyone be asking whether Atiku will run or not? Man is so predictable. Anyone entering a coalition with him should expect him to seek to be the sole aspirant as well as bribe all the bribable delegates for primaries. Btw, where is Kwankwaso who felt too big to deputise Obi that year? All these politicians be overrating themselves makachi. |
