The average medical doctor of 35ys in service is swimming in money. In the 90s before the import of MDs from third world countries, the average MD in the US earned on average a million USD per annum and most sat on the board of the medical company they worked at.
Medical doctors earn very good money.
Even Okafor operated his own private practice and might not earn as much as corporate employed doctors but he still earns a lot from MEDICAID payments.
So my question to you : what drove Okafor to venture into crime ? Was it divorce rape payments through alimony or was he setting a civil suit arising from past malpractice? I doubt malpractice because if he was found guilty of such, he would have lost his license to practice talk more of owning and operating his own clinic

If all these guys made these money and went broke, who is a doctor that will earn max 5-7 million net in his career fro earned income.

A Medical Doctor doesn't have the time to waste on going on a spending spree. Their job schedules do not allow for time to go to clubs .

I know a Nigerian Doctor in the US who owns his own practice and has a chain of Nursing schools in the east coast all from investing and taken loans against his wages when he was still working for a medical hospital firm.
There are even young doctors from Anambra in the US who are building hotels in the SE, Abuja and Lagos from loans the took out from several properties they bough with their salaries. As a MD in the US, you credit score will be so high that banks will loan you money at interest rates as low as 1.5 to 2%
If okafor wanted to make money on the side , there are easier and legit ways to go about it. Okafor is just a criminal and a greedy bastard.
