During the commissioning of the 125KM Benin-Asaba Expressway, Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo expressed his gratitude to President Tinubu for making the project possible. He also vowed to secure victory for Tinubu in the 2027 elections.

"Edo is now Lagos. 2027 is sealed for Mr. President. We will deliver Edo to you—18 over 18, all the LGAs," Governor Okpebholo boasted.

He further stated that they would even extend their campaign efforts to other states in support of Tinubu’s re-election.
