I'm amazed at Soyinka's refusal to criticise Tinubu. Accepted, Tinubu was his benefactor when Abacha wanted to kill him and Tinubu must have used some of his Chicago drug monet to help Soyinka flee from Abacha's net out of Nigeria and Soyinka feels that criticising Tinubu openly will be a betrayal of Tinubu and Remi who he has come to see as friends but Soyinka should at least think of his grandchildren and great grandchildren's future and call a spade a spade. I'm even further dismayed because Soyinka is well respected the world over for his erstwhile forthright comments on issues.

I think baba is also personally pained at the insults rained on him by Obidients on twitter and he is wrongly holding Peter Obi responsible for not stopping his followers from insulting him but Baba does not realise that nobody including Peter Obi can tame or police the internet warriors who operate independently from their homes.

Baba also said that on election day, the report he got from the field indicated that Tinubu won fair and square. I beg to differ because in my opinion, Tinubu only won by massive rigging, voter intimidation, violence, compromising INEC officials and in some cases his supporters threatened INEC officials with death if they did not write figures favorable to Tinubu as was the case with Wike in Rivers state where Wike brazenly threatened INEC officials that if they wanted to leave Rivers State with their lives, they should do what he says and write the results he gives them. The heist was perfected by the corrupt Supreme Court judges. Hence Tinubu's undisguised reward being given to Wike right, left and centre including unconstitutionality removing a sitting Governor to please Wike and guarantee that Wike carries out the same heist for Tinubu again in 2027.

Baba Soyinka, e ba wa pa enu po ba ole wi now. (Baba Soyinka please join us in castigating this thief now). huh

He is smarter than you and consult both sides to reach his own decision. He is as been in opposition since forever <you are emotion illogical, baised, patisan, obident , and possibly biafra ,Or one nigeria advocate .
Did he ever made the statement that he will access Tinubu's government after one year? We are criticizing him because he's been someone we look up to. If it has been a politician we won't mind.
