During the University of Calabar (UNICAL) convocation, Senate President Godswill Akpabio shared a heartfelt moment by kissing his wife, Ekaette Unoma Akpabio, in the presence of attendees, adding a personal touch to the event. Senator Akpabio, an alumnus of UNICAL, earned his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) degree and served as Student Union Government (SUG) Speaker in 1987/88. His leadership journey began at Methodist Primary School, Ukana, and Federal Government College, Port Harcourt, where he was Senior Prefect. The convocation also reunited the 1987 Faculty of Law alumni, with Akpabio and his peers pledging support for the university’s development. Decidetolive:Each Office has specific responsibilities. Senate Presidents are not Governors. He is a Law Maker and he has passed amazing laws without confrontations.
