From the 82nd minute, it was just clear they were defending a goal lead.

Back passes left and right even when they had the opportunity to go and get a second goal.

From the beginning of the match, there had always being gaps in our defence.

Perhaps, the first ball from Zimbabwe that hit the goal post before their equaliser should have been a warning sign.

But of course.....

Your country people like tonlook for things abroad. Olenty players dey local league for Nigeria to play that midfield.

Ndidi no even suppose the squad. Leg don tire am. grin
Exactly. We have local players better than these foreign imports.

Zimbabwe utilized Local players. Ditto South Africa and Lesotho. Why can't we utilize Local players who are very dedicated.

Alex Iwobi and Wilfred Ndidi have no business in the Team.

We can still qualify if we stay in second position.
..second position with a higher points than other teams that are also in 2nd position in their group.. and the 2nd position team selected will play..play off matches

No, we are not out yet

South Africa will still play Rwanda, Rwanda and Benin will still play. As long as we can win our remaining matches, we could still qualify as the second position
Nigeria will not be second

If I happen to be the NFA president I will put a stop to this rubbish (eehhhh) fans murmur during super eagles games...if no be ment your team is leading 1-0 you are doing eeh....even the spanish team the author and finisher of possession football don't get (eeehhh) when they play
Wetin your rubbish super eagles Sabi...wetin dem don achieve ...they are not even first in Africa ranking... 37th in the world...don't you people have shame??

Again I think is time they start infusing home based players to fight for shirts in this team....so we can have a good blend...from the 70minutes most guyz were already tired and they stopped pressing and working to win balls....this is not Europe ...this Africa ..you need to fight under the harsh weather...that's one thing local players will give you

These players are joggers, not footballers. Instead of putting pressure on Zimbabwe and securing a 3-0 lead in the first half, they were busy jogging around. Until Nigeria gets rid of these egoistic players, the team will not go far in African football.
I watched Brazil, Columbia match. You needed to see the pace of the game. Very fast pace, lot of running. Name doesn’t win a game, you need to put in the work. The match was too slow. Some players were too big to track back. Ademola Lookman should have been removed early on.

Nigeria will be in the World Cup.

Relax.
They will not even qualify for WC play offs because they can't make 2nd position.

If we really analyse football correctly, the Zimbabweans played better than us. Our boys are just running all over the field with their individual selfish performances. No tactical game plan. They are not fluid. Everybody is pressing forward like they all have to score. I'm surprised Zimbabwe did not beat them.

DID ANYONE NOTICE HOW QUICKLY THE MODS CHANGED THE SCORELINE TO 1-1 WHEN ZIMBABWE SCORED?

WHEN NIGERIA SCORED IT TOOK THEM NEARLY 20 MINUTES TO ADJUST THE SCORELINE.

THESE MODS ARE NIGERIA HATERS.

THIS SITE IS NOT OWNED BY NIGERIANS, EVEN THOUGH IT’S CALLED ‘Nairaland’.

SEUN IS JUST A FRONT.
That one no be issue. Mod no be robot. You know whether e dey drive home when Nigeria scored?

UNTIL THE SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA RETURN TO THE NATIONAL STADIUM, SURULERE LAGOS WHERE THEY BELONG, FORGET ABOUT THEM.

GO AND REFURBISH THAT STADIUM.

THAT IS THE HOME OF THE SUPER EAGLES OF NIGERIA.

NOT THIS UYO RUBBISH.

Imagine a country with African best player, former African best player and top players playing arround the world, unable to defeat Zimbabwe with no known player in our home soil. What a shame.

Local based players will do better than this... Enough of reliance on foreign players.
Supported. Too much reliance on foreign players.

Let's look inward.

Blame Amaju Pinnick for the rots in Nigerian football. He chosed the coach and chosed NFF president.

Nothing working well. NFF should be dissolved and replaced with seasoned players who played for the country before.

Nigeria can't qualify for the world cup. We are out.

Relax.
We are not going.

If we win our next 3 games we get 9 points which means 16 points. Good

However, all the Saffers have to do is to win one game and draw the next and they are on 17 points. They can lose their last game, it does not matter.

They can lose against us , it does not matter. They just need a win and a draw. We need to win all our games and hope that the Saffers

1. Lose all their remaining 3 games to be totally sure of qualifying

2. Lose against us and lose another game for it to go down to goal difference.

We threw away our chances by our loss to Benin. That's where the shit happened

South Africa faces Lesotho next, then us, then Zimbabwe. They will beat Lesotho and they most likely will beat Zim or draw with them. And. Qualify. I don't see Lesotho or Zim beating South Africa. We could beat them and also we could draw with them

Make we face next Afcon

If South Africa get deducted 3 points for fielding ineligible player we will be back to the position we came from, which is 5th out of 6th also known as second to the last which is probation and that will mean the end of the line for us. embarassed
Wat re u smoking? How will SA point deduction affect Nigeria points.

AFRICA SHOULD HAVE MORE THAN 5 SLOTS AT THE WORLD CUP.

HOW CAN EUROPE HAVE 16 SLOTS AND AFRICA 5?

THEN WHEN OUR BIG TEAMS DON’T QUALIFY, IT MEANS THEY ARE “NOT GOOD ENOUGH”.

THAT’S BULLSHIIT.

IT’S PURE MANIPULATION AND CHEATING.

ENGLAND PLAYS LATVIA, MONTENEGRO, NORTH MACEDONIA ETC TO QUALIFY.

VILLAGE TEAMS.

We can qualify if South Africa loses to Lesotho, Zimbabwe and us.

Losing to us is possible. Losing to Lesotho and Zimbabwe? No. Infact if we beat south Africa and they draw against Zim and thrash Lesotho, we are out.
