I know a guy whose father exercised his rights as per 2 baba, and left the guy's mother and siblings in the lurch (That he was able to graduate from university is because people from the church my parents attended at the time funded his university education, my parents included).

He is now married, has two sons, and up till today those boys have not met their grandad.

At some point, there are rights, and then there are duties. People seem to emphasize rights too much these days and forget about duties.
