I've watched the video myself and can't really see where Oby fired the first shot, probably because there was already heavy tension and elevated voices - basically everyone was talking at once.

All the same, Sen Nwaebonyi handled it VERY poorly. It's a tragic irony that a committee set up to look into allegations of harassment turned into that - a male senator openly harassing a female on live TV!! shocked

Brother, I can not blame the Senator. He reacted to an action and attack on his person.

Everyone can get angry, you can manage your anger but sometimes outbursts are inevitable.

Ultimately, the matter would be better handled in court because it may assume a criminal dimension.

It was a sad development but I can't blame the senator for his outburst.
