DomPerignon:You are correct. That's how they attached themselves by force to the South East. A rejected party through and through. The intention is to import themselves massively into our midst, scrape through an unproductive existence, then get automatic indigeneship by hook or by crook. You people are playing the long game. Nobody is against you coming here, but be positively productive. Is that too much to ask?

DomPerignon:Stop crying here and go and meet your APC senator who also functions as the Deputy Speaker. It's your party affair and we don't give a rat's ass what y'all do in there. You sponsor a bill and you still cry; is that not madness? 🤷🏾♂️

Ewedegubbler:Here lies the problem - your Zikist interpretation of one Nigeria led to the Ibo coup of Jan 15 that led to the civil war . You will learn the principles of good neighbourliness by respecting your boundaries. |

femi4: RepoMan007: DomPerignon: madridguy: UltraSolid:it will happen.. Tinubu's grand children are half-Yoruba, half-igbo, half-lebanese.. this is a bill to ensure that they can be appointed into government positions.. some other politicians also have children that are half-Yoruba half-igbo or half another tribe so this is a bill to ensure their children can take over.. but the bill also gives room to non-indigenes and even non-Nigerians to lay claim to parts of Nigeria.. it is a bill that can cause civil war in different parts of Nigeria. unless the FG uses the army to kill the indigenes that will fight against the bill the same way they do for herdzmen right now.. |

femi4:yes but there will be push back from the indigenes... look at what Adeleke is doing in Osun... How many roads has he built? how many hospitals has he built? How many schools has he built? How many businesses has he giving funding to? If someone like Adeleke who is half Yoruba half Igbo is not doing much in Osun then don't expect Tinubu's grand children to do better in future.. |

DomPerignon:.. I am only thinking of who the bill will favor and that's how I came to that conclusion... it is an anti-Yoruba bill sponsored by T:inubu and F:ulanis using an ibo man... this bill will destroy the SW totally.. |
| Re: Bill On Indigene Status After 10 Years Of Residence Passes Second Reading by DomPerignon: 8:28am On Mar 27, 2025 |
codemaniacs:There's no law that forbids any Nigerian from contesting elective position anywhere in the land This bill goes beyond securing elective position This bill wants to drag the very land with indigenes , get full indigene rights and benefits such as employment and admission quotas . The only reason these people until 2023 were having cold feet in contesting elections in another man's land is because they know they will be rejected. This bill is seeking to get settlers to have same full and equal rights with indigenes. |
| Re: Bill On Indigene Status After 10 Years Of Residence Passes Second Reading by Godfullsam(m): 8:29am On Mar 27, 2025 |
owobokiri:There are hundreds of thousands of Igbo living in those places you mentioned who will be praying for the bill to be passed into law so that they can become indegene and kiss goodbye to SE. |
| Re: Bill On Indigene Status After 10 Years Of Residence Passes Second Reading by codemaniacs: 8:34am On Mar 27, 2025 |
DomPerignon:Yes they would be rejected with legal backing. But after this bill passes the indigenes would no longer have legal backing to reject them. That's the point.. they don't want their children to face legal opposition and rejection from the indigenes. |
| Re: Bill On Indigene Status After 10 Years Of Residence Passes Second Reading by DomPerignon: 8:38am On Mar 27, 2025 |
codemaniacs:I read your post again but to the end Your opinion does not hold because those kids you referenced are full Yoruba under cultural and civic laws. The Nigerian constitution does not allow bi-ethnics to benefit from 2 identities. They are expected to choose one of their parents' tribe and state of origin. Do not use that Omo ale jati jati chinedu GRV as a yardstick as he is never ethnically Yoruba . His family is originally Saro and saros are returnee slaves and most that retained European names were originally from the SE who refused to go back to that shit hole . Ask yourself why there isn't one record of an Ibo slave returnee who went back to his homeland . Not one . We know many slaves of all African tribes got emancipated and those who could afford it went back to their homelands but there isn't a single record of any Ibo former slave who returned and settled in his homeland. Why? Because they knew how terrible and barbaric their yeast was. Most will rather settle in cosmopolitan African coastal cities like Monrovia , Free Town and Lagos than head back to their ancestral land GRV's mum is ibo and his wife is ibo , so his children are not in anyway Yoruba but rather Ibo thinking like their father who said he doesn't think in Yoruba. GRV is a bad example for inter tribal union and that's because of his simp father who let one yam leg raise his own children to hate the Yoruba tribe that the GRV family had adopted and lived in their land See Betty and how she hates Yorubas with passion despite her rising to be a first lady of a Yoruba state. She has also poisoned her children to hate everything Yoruba . That's how stupid and ingratious these people are . Any one who shows them good will is seen as a weakling. They are savage brutes whom Buhari rightly said he knew the only language to speak to them. |

NwokoloOwa:You guys are very unstable. Today you want biafra at all cost, the next day your law makers and reps who should be sponsoring bills that will help you get your wish are the same people sponsoring bills that will further unite the country. This bill will never see the light of the day. |
