In my own view, a Christian cannot appear before a Shari'a court because he will asked to swear with the Qur'an. No serious Christian will do that.

So, regarding this particular Sharia Panel, whoever wishes to engage with it and sees it as an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, it is fine. It will help the government and ensure that fewer cases reach our judges.

If the judicial system haven't failed the common man, there will be no need for Sharia court which is mainly for the masses not the rich.

If the reason for Sharia Court is for justice, then we should also have a court or panel for traditional worshippers.

One day, the whole SW will be islamized. Capturing Oyo State, the largest SW state is key to achieving this.
