The issue of Shari'a is simple, but the mischief makers and thieves amongst us are the ones against it.
Let's assume a Muslim takes inheritances of orphans of Muslim parents unjustly, whether he wishes to be tried under Shari'a or not, he must abide by the Shari'a rulings.
Forget about all these cut hands and legs or fulani propaganda, Shari'a has to do with Islamic rulings and if it's rightly applied, it's beneficial.

Between a Muslim and a Christian, can the muslim drag a christian to a shari'a court if the Christian doesn't consent to it but prefer the conventional court?

Muslims are free within their Islamic system to apply sharia for disputing resolution among consenting members. They however don't have right to bring their sharia to bear upon everyone, not even on Muslims who do not consent.

Makinde is right on this. A Sharia panel for Muslims is not a court of law, it's just an alternate dispute resolution mechanism for consenting Muslims. Some Churches too have committee that resolve dispute among members who present themselves to them according to Christian ethics and practices.

This is a great slap to the entire Yoruba race; most especially Oyo state indigents, it's not everything you refer to the Constitution, sometimes discretion need to be applied in some cases. Can Ilorin or North allow Traditional court within their States? When the governor's decision will start hunting the indigen, the governor may not be in position by then and it might be difficult to reverse his decision. Gov. Seyi makinde should think of the future effects of his decision on Sharia court within the State.
