Gazzette is not even the issue...the main issue is that does the President have the right to suspend a democratically elected governor?

.. fubara and the 27 law makers did not want to cooperate together and comply with the supreme court judgement inorder for the issues to be solved.. and 2 pipelines have already been blown..if Tinubu did not declare a state of emergency and suspend fubara and the 27 law makers that are causing more problems more and many pipelines would had been blown up.. Nigeria generates revenue,income, money through the crude oil to run the country and economy

How bad a precedent is it?

U have a governor who bulldoze another the second branch of government which is empowered by law to function and make law for it under a clear constitutional threats. U can't expect the president to standby and allow law and order thrown into the bin trash because he doesn't want to be called a dictator.

All politics are local and so Nigerian brand of politics is what is being carried out to the letter.

Some of u lack knowledge of the Constitution and it's dictate about the situation which could have caused a serious breakdown of law and order in the state because we have witnessed a bombing of pipelines of oil in the state.

It u were in such a situation I'm sure u would do worse but u're quick to shout foul here.
