Racoon:How are the state governors allowing the killer Fulani herdsmen to be operating in their states, let put FG responsibility aside As in the killer Fulani herdsmen would come from far away North and be disturbing the farmers in Southern part of the country. How many are they in their numbers? What precisely is the usefulness of the Educated Southern region when illiterate killer herdsmen would be disturbing their states. Blowing grammar without taking action |

Lmaooo... The way APC lead government bring out policy you would know that none of them have ever ran a business successfully before In USA u have less than 2 million farmers feeding 360 million people and exporting over 100 billion dollars worth of produce In Nigeria we have over 100 million farmers yet can't feed ourselves... And APC thinks the issue is to get more people into farming? APC thinks people don't want to cultivate the empty lands ? 🤣🤣🤣 it's funny but APC don't even know what the issue is |

mrvitalis:You say we have over 100 million farmers in the country. This an over exaggerated figure. This simply means for every 2 - 3 Nigerian one is a farmer. |

Land is not the problem here, let them focus on securing the farmlands, they can allow farm owners have right to arm themselves against trespassers. |

Must the FG tell the ivory towers this before they know the right thing to do. I believe Ivory towers should be championing innovation and invention and not being told what to do. |

We just have a government that is never organized. Since we have Federal Medical Centers (FMCs), why not create Federal agricultural centers in some states where agro related activities are going on. It will provide jobs for many agric related graduates, there will improved crop yield. These Federal agricultural centers would be able to even pay their own salaries and remit extra to federations account, like Nigerian customs and NNPCL. There will also be extra for exports. Leaving agriculture in the hands of illiterate farmers and non-experts in the villages is dangerous. I think I need to email one of our senators o! |

What are your state Governors doing ??They're still the set people begging for delay in implementation of local government area autonomy. Yet nobody talk All the state governors United together, in respect of there party affiliation to down play LGA freedom. Ganjafama:How is it exaggerated, apart from Lagos Abuja and portharcourt majority of towns and villages in Nigeria have farming as their predominant occupation Infact many civil servants are farmers in those towns also So our problem is not having enough farmers, the issue is majorly logistics The risk of taking a farm produce from the farm to market don quadruple these days |

treesun:^^^ ![]() The same old song. Those who have been watching this administration closely can quickly identify the patterns: Noisy declarations of a dubious 'state of emergency' ![]() Renaming ministries, departments and agencies (as meaningless and as pointless as re-arranging the deckchairs on a doomed, sinking ship )Creating yet another layer of wasteful, unnecessary red tape (does BAT need yet another 'Special Assistant' - this time on Food Security? Of course not.)BAT and his 'teamship' crew are clearly out of their depth. This is not how to lead. |

The deal PBAT made with the Fulani pre election period is what is affecting him and his administration! Furthermore, traditional rulers and some village and town rulers and chief kinsmen spread across various states are complicit in the Fulani herdsmen infiltration, attack and sabotage of various farmlands . This is because some of them have been allegedly bribed with cows for land by Fulani lords . Also, some of them buy cows and employ the Fulani to be managing them with no place to graze. This is what has given them the Audacity to roam through the towns, villages ,cities and states destroying farmlands with impunity. Most of the state politicians and elder statesmen in South West own cows and employ fulani. This is why you can't bring them to justice nor arrest them when they kill provocatively. |
