Canada and US have free trade agreement.
Canada protects its dairy industry and there is a limit to import of dairy. Anything above the quota is tariff. US has never paid tariff, because the quota has never been exceeded.

Canada was too stupid to build their entire economy around one country. After Trump regime, they might think it just Trump thing, it’s not. It’s the plan of the Cabals in the United state.

You might not like Trump but he isn't totally wrong here. America has a trade deficit in the auto industry with Canada and Europe. More cars come in from Canada to America. The trade deficit is much. Cars worth over 290bn dollars are shipped into the US while cars worth over 140bn dollars are shipped out of the US. That's what Trump is trying to balance.
