Lol. No wonder guys call these ladies "chicks" or "side chicks"—so it's because they lay eggs? 😂 But imagine the absurdity of your pet chicken laying eggs and then cleverly selling them to another chicken for money. Would you find humour in such a situation, or would it leave you bewildered? |

What a pathetic stories? Some years back during my university days before I graduated 2008/9. I knew two particular ladies who do go to Lagos State and River State to sell their eggs for 150k then. In fact, some of the students in the hostel thought they are from well to do family because of the life they lived then. The day of them got sick and I was with her received a call from her client that someone needed an egg. She told the person she is not feeling fine. The person told her I will add 100k more. She later concluded with the person when she gets better. Three months she started driving Golf 2 car. This is she used in paying school fees, other academic bills, hotel and her social life till she graduated. The last term I saw her in the 2018. She looks very old than her age. I just asked hope all is well. She said she is fine. And her asked of her friend - she replied she lost contact with her. In nutshell, from the post I read below. Egg donation is now 35k... The agent are really making money then. |

Over population, poverty, pollution, unemployment, food shortages, traffic, congestion...but Africans are still desparate to produce children - good luck! |

Chilipepper:their unfortunate situations were caused by their greed. If they had sought advice from someone, they might not have become a victim. Unfortunately, they were too eager to outpace their own shadow and outsmart themselves |

Well, medically it’s not a problem because they will naturally shed those eggs at ovulation and expel it through menstruation. So why waste it if it can help a family member But spiritually, it may have some far reaching consequences |

Selling one's eggs is not a decision a thoughtful woman should consider. Regretting that choice now demonstrates a lack of foresight. |

Nigerian women wey sabi lie! Which one is 150k per egg? Are you a chicken? Female eggs are ultramicroscopic and thousands of eggs from a woman can fit on the head of an office pin! |

| Re: Nigerian Ladies Share Their Sad Experiences With Egg Donation/Selling by Yong4ever(m): 10:40am On Mar 29, 2025 |
Kobojunkie:There's no justification for selling nor donating your eggs especially for ladies who have not given birth before, considering numerous adverse effects associated with the procedure, after all they're being paid peanuts that can not solve their financial problems, as a woman naturally you lose egg per every menstrual cycle but the procedure you're undergoing for egg extraction takes more than one egg from you by stimulating ovulation through injection, it doesn't just make any sense, if they continue selling or donating each time they have financial problems, how many eggs would they have left after getting married?, coupled with the fact that they lose egg naturally per every menstrual cycle, the procedure is so risky such that it can lead to ovarian cancer ,infertility etc. |
| Re: Nigerian Ladies Share Their Sad Experiences With Egg Donation/Selling by OneOnland: 10:40am On Mar 29, 2025 |
Abemy:Rather than let it pass out as menstrual blood, they take it[them] out before then to another needing person. It's science. It's genius. The eggs are otherwise wasted, so rather than wasting, take it out and give, and in return for passing under the syringe and taking hormone shots[should be optional], they are paid. It's not a bad thing, it's genius. Although it could be abused, but it shouldn't be abused is all. |
