Why are you people like this? Must you blindly follow politicians without encouraging a change and better life for others? Can you name any five of the schemes created to protect poor citizen sir? JASONjnr:If all economic indexes show greatness and upward trend but the people don't feel it but instead become poorer and poorer, what is the essence of these indexes? FG should be weary of following blindly all advice and suggestions from the World Bank and the IMF, without first weighing the local socioeconomic impact of those advice and then adapt gradually and progressively to prevent unnecessary "shocks" that may end many live and businesses untimely. Creating of a true, effective and impactful programs for the poor is very much welcomed. |

Fuel subsidy was the best way to protect the poor citizens , instead of IMF to advise you to secure your border and put end to subsidize petrol been smuggled across the border into neighboring countries , a method that would have still allowed poor Nigerians to enjoy their crude oil and still prevent inflation. You advised them to kill the Naira to the benefit , increase inflation and now start pumping the revenue to cushion the effect of inflation Pure manipulation What happens to boosting security, agriculture, power sector , industrialization , employment creation and all that ? |
