Eventually, there was no casualties as we made calls through and the governor was informed and peace restored.

Edo State government has no reason to apologise to anybody or compensate anybody since the killers were not government officials.

What were the northerners doing with guns in another person's state of I may ask? They say they were hunters but is there no bush or forest in their northern states for their hunting business?

The best the government can do in this situation is to have the killers arrested, tried and if found guilty they go to jail for extra-judicial killing. The killers were non-state actors, so Edo state government does not have to compensate anybody or apologise to anybody.

here is the thing, the narrative that fulani people as a whole are behind these killings is totally wrong, yes no doubt most of these malitia (bandits) are of fulani decent. but the fact remains that there is a much deeper reasons these atrocities are being carried out, think illegal mining, foreign influence, resource control, etc the question we aren't asking is who does these disability in the country benefits... then we would begin to see the connections on how all these bandits, food insecurity, boko haram etc are all connected and funded by the same group of powers that benefit from Nigeria being in a state of chaos...
