He made only 2 mistakes, and everyone should learn from it.

If you want to be safe in a hotel, make sure that once you get to the presence of the Receptionist, call a trusted family member or friend and inform him or her of the name of the hotel you are lodged in. If possible, scream the name of the hotel so that even the hotel manager will know you are making the call.

2. Make sure you don't call your Spouse of you will be lodging with a prvstitute. To avoid Kasala Kasongo.

Journey well, Mr. Oghofatha.

Understanding the darker side of humanity will give you every reason to exercise caution. But how careful can one be?

The phrase "Good morning" can annoy some people.

It would do you good to inform your spouse about your whereabouts.

In general, everyone should exercise caution.

One can never be too careful, unless if one would live in seclusion and far away from human reach. Is that even possible? RIP to the deceased.

Is like someone should not lodge in hotel again? Dont be deceived on how fancy it is o!

Make calls describing the hotel you are in with address infront of the receptionist, DONT pay with cash use your atm card or transfer.

If you are leaving next day, nake a call in their presence saying they should come pick you up in d hotel so by d next day you quickly find your way

Whilst in the room, look out for secret doors, holes and so on. Lock your door(leave the key in the keyhole) and secure further with any heavy furniture you can find around. Under no circumstance should you open the door to attendants at night.

This is the type of hotel manager, whose daughter will be amongst the girls abusing the wife of the president
I hope she will come out and insult her father and brothers who are murderers.

The man too made a grave mistake but still tried, he should have made that call infront of all the hotel staff and snapped them and let them know he had done all that.

Police did a nice job here by getting the manager and coworkers arrested and detained. The owner of the hotel is also an accomplice so should be arrested too while the hotel should remain permanently shut down.
This matter should be investigated thoroughly to get everyone involved behind bars.

Why is it that only three people, the manager and two other boys were arrested, what about the hotel owner Chief Joseph who resisted the search of the room where the deceased was found, he was not arrested.
I hope that they round up everyone and investigate throughly to get those directly or indirectly involved in this barbaric act.

But sincerely it is zero wisdom to lodge in this kind of hotel. How can a hotel be unpainted and you still feel comfortable lodging there.

The Hotel is located in his hometown. It is normal to feel safe when you go home, so how the hotel looks doesn't matter.
His death may be attributed to locals and family or village matter

You're right, apparently, lots of these hotels are conspiring with ritualists to kill their visitors. Some of the hotels sef are owned bu the ritualists themselves. If I have no option than to lodge at a particular hotel, I'd go amd snap everywhere in the hotel amd send to my families and friends in the presence of the hotel staff.

Myrepublic:
Watched the video of Edafe DSP ,questioning the manager.
The manager is a criminal, and he should be locked for life, and keys thrown into the river.

He has been using that hotel for criminal activities, with his gang (two other guys)

Don't know if owner is different from manager. Story says owner resisted attempts to search the room where deceased was eventually found

In Nigeria today, one cannot sleep in a hotel with both eyes closed because they are gradually becoming ritualist dens.

When lidging in a hotel especially on emergency cases with no choice, ensure that from night especially midnight till day break, don't open the door no matter how loudly and continuous it is knocked.

Always put key in the keyhole after licking the door, don't leave it empty .... Still use the hook on the door if available. Your phone should always be charged and have credit for data and calls.

A lot of Nigerians have become so evil that I think they deserve a Nigeria that is harsher than it is right now. Maybe then they will become better people.

We need to be extra careful. Hotels that have yahoo boys as permanent residents in hotels is a big red flag. Don't chase cheap hotel. Get hotels in town. Nonsense happens in remote areas. Also ensure u call and interact with the workers as you call so they know ur family is aware you are lodging in their hotel. Ask to see the manager. Do the same thing by calling maybe a top law enforcement agent as your uncle. They know that's a no go area for their evil work. quote author=Finquas post=134767994]Hotels these days has become death traps.. if hotel nor be 5 star .. omo I gat nothing to do with it anymore cool
