The only way to make best decisions on these cars are, use their VIN numbers, check their histories, that will give you ideas which one to go for. All cars in good conditions are good. Unless if you are looking for efficiency and resell value.
But fortunately most cars sent to Nigeria can't be driven in America, only good for parts. They come naija put makeup on them, them come they shine.

Toyota Camry 2014, don't go for the V6, because of fuel consumption, rather buy the 4 plug with single exhaust.

hmm, highly debatable.
The Lexus brand is pretty much a Toyota, powertrain wise, just more refined so it also has that reliability to the touch, so you saying it’ll be difficult to maintain is wrong, that car uses a 2GR-Fe which happens to be very reliable, I think the major issue this had was an oil cooler issue which was resolved.
As for fueling, Op stated fueling won’t be an issue. I gave my suggestions based on my knowledge on this vehicles, it’s not nice that you talk down on that knowledge sir. I say that with due respect, Merry Christmas

I have been driving since 1998 no disrespect, and I usually use to say exactly same thing you are saying before I realized otherwise. There are cars that consume fuel with or without Ac for sure. Like a Lincoln navigator I had. That car was a killer even without Ac. When you use a camry V6 compared to the normal one, it consume more fuel with or without Ac. Now I want to just clarify you on the fact that using the heater of a car requires more power than that of Ac so those that build these cars from countries they need more of the heater than Ac already know how they have put everything in place.

The only thing we ignore here in Africa is the size of the engine of the car we use and that is why this statement of car consuming feul with Ac is common. I had a Kia Sportage I usually sleep inside sometimes when I was in school just when there is no light at night. I will sleep from like 10pm till 4am with the AC on and the fuel gauge don't shake one but. Now to shock you when I changed to a Toyota new big sienna and did same, it was same result. When I travelled with both cars and observed the fuel stuff using Ac my brother nouch difference. And the sienna had two ac cylinders ooo. Let me not add my range Rover sport so it's not like I'm bragging.

The point is that using Ac does not determine much about fuel consumption bro, trust me.

I started driving with a manual honda integral and civic (parents car).
A friend and I ran the test on the highway (lagos Ibadan) sometime 2014, using a Mitsubishi and camry both 4 plugs.
I also confirm my guess driving in Ontario. Plus I watched top gear alot plus other drag races TV show, they always mention swith off the ac and wind up to get the best out of your car. The more the load on the engine the more fuel it consumes

Dear auto professionals in the house, good evening everyone.
Please i have an issues as regards my car and this issues has not been resolved till today even after i have visited multiples of mechanics and electricians.
My tinny light toyota camry 1996 suddenly developed the following issues.
1, If you kick the car it ll start and steams very well, the moment you ON the Air conditioner, the car will OFF.,
2, Even when the RPN is stable at 1, the moment you push the gear to drive, the car off.
I have granded the top cylinder twice and replaced 4 valves as directed by the mechanic to no avail.
I have changed my fuel pump, changed the injector mouth, changed airflow sensor, changed all the 4 plugs, changed the coil, changed the 4 tension wires still the issues persisted.
I can only drive the car when the RPN hand is almost at 2, that's when the engine is turned very high.
Can some one advise me further on the way forward please.. I need urgent help.

With the 508 however expect electric issues within some time as it's not brand new.

We had a fleet of about 12 (brand new) in my workplace and we had to have 4 repaired
for electric issues within the first years of use (under warranty).

Hilux, Coaster and Kia Cerato wey we buy the same period zero issues except servicing and those wey get accident.

Can you describe the electrical issue?
Was it related to the engine or a major fault ?

U keep visiting dumbos. How can u grind the valves ,etc for an electrical fault. What the hell. The issue lies with maf sensor,ect and probably a faulty brainbox(ecu) .mechanjics don use u chop. It possible u even have a bridged connection that are doing azonto....its an electrical fault.u just dey waste money.

I'm eyeing Honda Crosstour, but I don't know the common faults it has if I can cope with (make I choose something I know I can afford it common problems).

Other vehicle brands I'm looking at is
Hyundai Sonata
Toyota

But no idea of the best model to go after
Emphasis on the most easily maintained with no long list problems while using
Not something that normally develop issues people don't understand

The crosstour is a great choice, basically an Honda accord with higher ground clearance. Common fault would be the VCM technology but can be resolved by using a VCM MUZZLER . ( basically applies to most Honda V6 of that era
As regards other options, discard a registered sonata and try out a Toyota Camry with a 2AR engine or probably a registered rx330 or 350 that has been properly inspected.
