Men of the Nigerian army were caught on camera assaulting a women protester during the recent protests in Abuja by Shite sect.And it was carried far by international media.Which carried the Nigerian Army in very bad light. This also involved them using live ammunition. Which they foolishly denied as it was clearly captured on camera. The Nigerian army should fish out these erring men and put them on trial inviting international news media to redeem its battered image
Recently cameras also caught the military invading the Ikeja electric power office and assaulting civilians.

Was this unknown to the international community? This is just one of it

We know of many incidents. But was it recorded via news media as evidence. It is just like as we know of police taking bribe but very many cases were not captured. Unlike the case of the police men extorting the lady dutch bike rider.who recorded the incident unknown to the policemen.the incident went viral round the world. Of course the police authorities had to take swift action .

Even if a person committed murder you dont take law into ur arms.That is why the govt went hard on these that mobbed these travellers be them kidnappers. Did you read the story carried by the international news media.It is obvious you dont know the implications and consequences involved in such being given such coverage all over the world.Any regime using g the military to suppress civil riots is heavily blacklisted.It is the police that is drafted to handle riots.secondly you dont use live ammunition to quell riots.There are known standard of international practices. U are an illiterate who possibly found himself in the military. Have you ever heard about rules of engagement? A trained officer even if he has gone against the rules of engagement won't be bold to say it out in the media but rather wi do a damage control to protect the image of his organization. The military use dark measures all the time which is against the rules if engagement but the interesting thing is that they don't use it in the open where it becomes illegal because the outer society doesn't accept those extrajudicial means but unfortunately untrained people like you would say otherwise. If at all you are in the military, you need further training to bring you up to speed on how to engage with the civil society.

Lets assume what you say is correct, the Nigerian constitution of 1999 as amended says any one arrested is presumed innocent until been proven guilty by a competent court of jurisdiction. The moment you arrest someone you can no longer assault him(illegal to do so) you can only investigate and prosecute him for the alleged offense and not to assault him in public. Only the police can prosecute in this case because she can't be court martialled since since isn't part of the military.

Militaries all over the world operate on rules, Nigerian military isn't a militia with no rules. I guess i have enlightened you enough not to go the extrajudicial way, it would burn your hands sooner than later.

Stop talking like an fool. The video shows armed Soldiers assaulting an unarmed woman, and that is very bad. Don't ever expect the international community to accept the shockingly low standards of Nigeria

I don't believe this is Nigeria. Most of these videos are later found to be events from other African countries from up to ten years ago. It's why I hate low resolution videos because situations which happened in the early 2000s can be falsely claimed to be recent.
