EPIJOE:It costs over 700 naira to produce a liter of fuel And you want to buy it at 400 naira? Okay. After don't complain when the refineries start breaking down. You guys, haven't you heard about why it is important to make a profit? |

Where is the port Harcourt refinery and other refineries they claimed is working at 100% capacity? We keep hearing dangote refinery everyday, Some thing is wrong with this country and we need to stand up and ask questions |
| Re: MRS, Others Raise Petrol Prices To N930 In Lagos, N960 In North by ufotunang: 8:38am On Mar 31, 2025 |
EPIJOE:..it's the high exchange rate of 1, 560 naira to a dollar that is causing the high costs of fuel..if the exchange rate is from 600 naira to a dollar the price of fuel will be cheap..it will at least 200 naira to a litre. So Tinubu should try and appreciate and strengthen the naira against the dollars inorder for the price of fuel to be cheap |

The only people that will not suffer this price shift are the Tinubu supporters. As Tinubu supporters I buy fuel with shikini money just 56 naira per liter and I even collect change. The Truth must be told. You are deceived and still being deceived that the benefit will reflect in the future, the future that is slaughtered on a daily basis with bad policies influenced with selfish interests. Is there reduction in the government appointees and elected officers salary, do they feel the heat? Keep deceiving yourself |

GloriousGbola:.abi.. even Yaya bello also used dollars to.pay schools fees for his children schooling in Abuja Nigeria....all this depreciates the naira against the dollars and makes price of goods and services to be high and brings inflation |

The more you grow in this world the more you realise it's a game of interest. What's is right depends on were your standing. Only few can advocate for right and wrong sincerely. To think Jonathan regime lifted subsidy and fuel went up by small margin was sufficient enough ground for protest. |

ufotunang:Having a strong currency does not mean things would be cheaper. I mean, when naira was 140 to the dollar people still complained of how expensive things were. Anyways, if we want a strong currency we have to be an exporter of manufactured goods and services..and it means we start by removing subsides on power so that the power sector can grow, and we also encourage vocational education and technical education. But most of us want a fair sharing system. Using our forex reserves to keep up the naira is a sure way of killing our economy long term. Especially debt wise. Most agbado and obidients don't want to hear this And anyway |
