Prices increased but quality of services significantly decreased only in Nigeria. Glo night night used to work and download. But now after subbing the night data it doesn't download at all even at 4g speed, managed to browse

We that use 4g enabled devices now find it a huge task to browse most sites seamless like then,one have to keep shuffling from 4g to 3g
regain connection.

When NLC threatened to go on strike over the price hike, MTN and others were afraid, MTN even sold 18gig for N3500. When they realized that NLC was a toothless bulldog, they started selling less than 7gig for N3000

you cant even use #200 to talk moe than 3 minutes.

It’s like data got more expensive and the speed got throttled down, I used to clock more than 120MB/s during the day, now I barely clock even 10% of that, and even at night that it reached almost 500MB/s, I no dey see reach 100MB/s again, it’s infuriating
Mtn should fix that. I can’t be paying premium and be getting shitty reception, it’s pure rip off

MTN is the worst. 250% increase in data price and yet the data doesn't last. Cost of calls astronomically increased. If you recharge your line, MTN removes N100 automatically from you and you get nothing even if it's the N100 you recharge, everything gone.

Something funny happened this morning that just showed that MTN is a wicked organization.

I had MTN on my data, so I was browsing the Internet with it. After a while, I got a notification that I had 100mb left. I have a 4g router, so I immediately subscribed to the router and turned off my cellular data.

Please, tell me why, after some minutes of browsing with wifi MTN sent a message that I had 20mb left. I was flummoxed!!

What is left for MTN is for their CEO to carry ak47 because what MTN is doing is not fair on the masses.

Last week, they quietly increased their data prices and removed the barely affordable ones. Imagine increasing daily data plan from 400 to 650. That's insane!

But our government is more interested in declaring a state of emergency, rather than catering to the welfare of citizens.

And if we talk, yarimo and his cult members will start yapping nonsense.

Look like MTN is planing to run from Nigeria by making as much they can or politicians gave them targets to meet before next election.

My brother! i thought was possessed these past weeks. These companies operate with impunity without consequences.
Unfortunately, Data is not indomie which is easy to boycott except we hope for reasonable competitors.

Nobody is being objective, let somebody good with numbers do the Mathematical calculation to arrive at the percentage increment in data prices. Then we can conclude how high the price increment went.

Last year, MTN's night data plans increased from #30 for 500MB to #50 for 500MB. Last week, it increased from #50 to #75 for #500MB.

We Nigerians haven't fully comprehend what hit us with the comming of Tinubu. The man said, "let the poor breath" but we all can see that he is here to destroy.

Last week I subscribed for SMART DATA 5GB and set my data limit to 5GB so that I'll closely monitor my data usage to see whether MTN is indeed scamming me. Bro data finished yesterday I checked my data usage and only used 3GB meanwhile my balance is saying I have 42MB remaining😆😆

but it's clearly Noticeable that they're throttling their network speed. the reason i can't fanthom. 4g and 5g now terrible. i now struggle to open webpages in the daytime talkless of videos
