Vandals never Give Up. Ask American Indians to today. If they do not invade by some written constitution, they do it by law. If not by law by Fiat. Ask women about abortion settled law after 50 years in USA, Ask Blacks about jerrymandering after 100 years. Go West Young Man Go West, the Apple of their eyes. Creat your own West with Civilized Culture and Value Systems, they cannot and will not. It is easier to capture by force or tulasi. |

Lol..... they will attact you for making efforts to school them..... The west will still control them and even steal their resources from them. They will tell them what laws to pass and how to set up their Biafra.... Then restrict them from getting Visa. Worse is that, their natural resources isn't going to be enough for the west to exploit.... They will likely be an abandoned country..... |

banku:No body is saying it would solve Nigerian problems... We are saying it would make solving the problem easier It's a million times easier for Igbo youths to agree on something than nigerian youths to agree on same thing It's a million times easier for Yorubas to hold Yoruba leaders accountable than for Nigeria to hold Nigerians accountable |

It wont solve all the problems, but to a fantabulous extent, integration and patriotism will be easier. These two powerful tools, needed for National Development are not possible in Nigeria, |

banku:You are completely wrong. Europe became the most developed continent on earth because they understood the need for a country to contain mostly people of same tribe, culture, tradition, language, religious belief and general life beliefs. It makes things easy, it reduces divergent voices and opinions. It makes leadership easy for the leaders. It makes it easy for the nation to have a common goal based on their shared culture, language, traditional and religious beliefs. Language is another important issue. People that speak same or similar language or dialect will understand each other better and faster, it will reduce conflict and misunderstanding. It will not eliminate all issues but it will reduce the issues caused by too man differences. This is why Black African nations didn't develop fast like others. Colonial masters did black African nations bad by lumping together people of divergent lifestyle, language, beliefs and tradition together in one nation. If Southwest was a country of its own and Tinubu is their President, they will accept him more, they will even forgive his shortcomings and it would have been easier for him to lead them. The reason some Nigerians pretend like they love the so called one Nigeria is because of greed for crude oil resources found in other regions, they can't imagine life without the free crude oil money but they forgot that nothing beats human capital development. A creative man can do wonders without mineral resources. If we focus on having quality leadership and investing in our talents and knowing they are our only resources, we will achieve more than those that have mineral resources. Nigeria as a black nation is too diverse to function as a successful nation; tribal-religious sentiments will continue to mar our leadership. Take a look at how Tinubu has been busy appointing only Yorubas into key political positions, that alone creates anger, kill patriotism and bring bad wishes from none Yorubas, it's natural. No nation can succeed that way and that is why Tinubu will never succeed in making Nigeria a successful nation because he is wearing a bigotry lense and sees everything from his Yoruba lens ![]() |

No Civilized Culture in world history remained independent of attacks by neighbors out of envy, greed for spoils of war and imposition of the same regressive culture that kept them down. Only fortification, anticipation and preparation can deter attempts. Even repulsive people claim they want and won't let them go, no matter how you wish they would. mrvitalis: |

banku:I keep telling people around me this but it seems I'm crazy.......I have sat down to analyze how every region is going to look if we divide and its not something beautiful I must admit 1. North: There's always going to dissatisfaction there because of this Hausa/fulani crisis..There can never be peace or stability there because the Fulani's are still going to hold onto power and make the Hausa's become minority.....The same thing happening currently 2. Middle belt or Central Region: Those of us that have stayed in Benue, kogi, plateau can tell you straight how bad their inter tribal wars are..Especially between the TIVS and Idoma..But coming together,it's going to be yam, pepper scatter because the igalas, idomas, etc would be involved and none would want to submit to the other 3. Eastern Region/Biafra Land: There is going to be serious discontent because of greed. And it's going to escalate into heavy tensions because an igbo man does not bow to anyone..If the supposed leader is from anambra, then the enugu, imo, abia, etc people will revolt..And vice versa.....If he is rich, they'll argue that he's a bully...And if he's poor,he will never even get the chance because his ideaologies are dead on arrival 4. Southern region: I don't even wish to talk about this because those of us from this region who are truthful with ourselves know what transpires here...Wike vs fubara, akpabio vs udom, obaseki vs okpebolo and shuaibu, okowa vs silva, etc. Just to mention a few 5. Western Region: From an ousiders view,it seems like it's going to be the most successful region right?? But it's all a farce because as an insider,I can tell you that the only thing the westerners will agree on is fighting the easterners...Other than that, nothing else..As regionalization is going to bring about heavy contempt and huge disagreement amongst them...Chekout the various problems that emerges during their various elections One Nigeria is the only thing that favours every region in this country..We only need to decentralize the federal and enable each region control their own resources under the supervision of the federal..... |

mrvitalis:So spot on! The parasitic hegemony holding the rest of us to ransom can't imagine a life outside of 'one Nigeria', and they use the heterogeneous nature of country to set Nigerians against each other, divide-and-rule, so they can benefit from the confusion and mutual suspicion! |

Let everyone go their own way then have the freedom and choice to come together with likeminded groups to form a country! NDIGBO HAVE NO BUSINESS SHARING THE SAME COUNTRY WITH THE YORUBA AND FULANI! |

Your points are so attractive until you come to the conclusion on one Nigeria and independent regions like we had before. Indeed, that was how Western Region developed better than other Africans. The leaders in the West brought what unite them together like adopting one dialect and Value Systems. The Federal power scattered them with the ambition of Akintola that preferred alliance with the North compared with Awo that insisted on alliance with the East, in retrospect, Akintola was right! So, as attractive as your analysis is, it only takes a rebel within and a powerful force from outside to destroy a progressive region. It was surprising that Awo Action Group penetrated the North and the East to form the main Oppositions. This was mainly from his colleagues cabinet progressive governance that became obviously attractive to other regions. Remember now, Yoruba had Kiringi wars like other Africans that lasted years until Awolowo united them with one language and one Value Systems. Yet, it was not perfect. Ehmmah588: |

franchasofficia:Everything you said is correct to an extent except that the West will never allow someone like Tinubu to be their president if they were to be an only yoruba nation. |

banku:I totally get your point..But it won't change anything as long as it's these same set of greedy politicians and their children at the top....The greed must set in...Abiola and Akintolas case was just between two key players..This time,it's going to be free for all |

Every ethnic group has Akintola and Abiola. The question is: how to ameliorate the problem. Akintola Taku Abiola later apologized. Ehmmah588: |
