What is the glory or pride in being a leader when your main legacy is impoverishing the people you are meant to lead?

How can someone who lied and used deceit to get power be worthy of praise?

How can someone with a dubious history shrouded in mystery that involved drug dealing and lies be a role model?

How can someone who isulates himself from the devastating consequences of his rule while telling those he rules over to endure, be a good leader?

At the national level, bat is a terrible leader.
