What exactly do you wish to learn. I shared some pics of my setup earlier on in the thread. It's simple really.

The dc cable from the cc goes into a dc breaker. The output dc cable from the dc breaker goes into the central connection of the Swiss knife change over. Finally each end of the change over has a dc cable connected to different batteries. So u just switch the change over from one battery to the 9ther depending on which you need to charge with the panels.

P1,2,3 - the number of phases. 1 - Single Phase, 2 means US Split Phase, 3-phase

Bros is there a single phase Deye that has 4 mppt (8kw to 16kw).

Had you had the privilege of contrasting between the old & new model Deye (say 12kw or 16kw models). Is there any feature, improved build or construction that should make one be advised to go for the newer model.

Looking forward to your insight.

Good afternoon Beautiful people. I recently got tired of Nepa ish and decided to get a solar system for my small home. 1 freezer, 1 console, 1 TV, 2 fans. I contacted someone who after talking to him we agreed on 4kva which he said will carry my non inverter 1 hp Hisense AC. We agreed on 1.8 and he'll be using 400w panels x 4. I want to know if it's a good deal on my part or if the panels is not enough for that. He sent me some tubular batteries which I'll post below. I'm just new to this and don't want to get burnt. Country hard

No single phase has 4mppts, you can get 4 mppt and above on HV models.

Capacities are the same, protections has been improved, newer models have more surge tolerance, casings have been redesigned, colored screens have been introduced.

It's always advised to go for new models in every invention.

You must parallel same versions and models. The SUN-5K-SG03LP1-EU model must be paralleled with another SUN-5K-SG03LP1-EU model and their firmware versions must be the same too.

So Main Take away for the Deye inverter is that there is no Feed into Grid feature. Which is what Make Hybrid inverter, this is OFF Grid. No CT and all of those.

But still have Smart load and all the deye Goodies..
We dont need or even use Feed into Grid, so smart way to reduce it cost and make it more affordable.

In essence made for Nigeria

As per you comments on CT and grid feed, see page 38. Maybe I am not reading it right but it seems to indicate in certain configurations it can feed to grid and there is an internal CT with option for external.

Looks like a very interesting inverter, I particularly like the overpaneling capability!

Please is there a way i can reduce the voltage from pv from say around 100 - 90v to say around 70v (to the limit of my controller)?. Is there a dc to dc buck converter that is readily available that can do this?
