The Gorge is a solid 9/10. This is officially one of my best movie as far as 2025 movies are concerned. Picture and cinematography is a solid 10/10. Storyline is a solid 10/10 Decent dialogues with a proper pacing of the story, combination of Horror, mystery, thriller, action packed so intensed and a beautiful subtle romance. The movie looks like a play station five game remake. I think they should make a Playstation 5 version of it. Nice acting by the talented casts, their talent carried the movie. For the real deal, check out Last Breath (2019), the documentary tells the true story in all its raw intensity. It’s on Apple TV and Amazon, and trust me, that one’s a solid 8/10, pure tension from start to finish! |

Original IP movies were never movie magnets, but studios still take the risk to make them because of their special place in film culture and are even likely to win the studios awards and get critically acclaimed.
