Crude oil barrel price has increased from $70 to $75
Naira has lost value 🤷

This are the major input of production 🤦, tougher days ahead, brace for impact.
Are you trying to say if crude oil barrel price appreciates to $100 as it should be, fuel would be 1500 to 1600naira in an oil producing nation? What is the Benefit of the oil we are producing self if we buying at same dollar prices range as non producing

Dangote isn't the problem it is NNPCL and these fuel importers who want to make profits rather than see Nigerians enjoy cheaper fuel prices from dangote.

What concern Nigeria with global oil price? That should be for International market. How can we be producing something and sell it in the country at international rate? It's like producing a can of soft drink and sell it at the same price it's been sold in US or UK.
Why can't we sell crude in naira to domestic refineries?

Honeymoon is over from dangote. Nigerians are supposed to dragged Tinubu out and stone him to death. Where is our subsidy money.
Honestly I don't know why Nigerians are just looking at this ugly toad messing up with their lives for this long,it makes absolute no sense still tolerating this slowpoke of a president, to what end,or do Nigerians think there will be a day their suffering will stop under this pharo if they continue to endure him, then they must be very dumb, because they are encouraging him to suffocate them more, due to their endurance

unfortunately the people at the receiving end prefares to dwell on ibos and yoruba, ethnicity that will not alleviate their conditions
Since a yoruba man has been president, how has it impacted more positively on a yoruba man more than any other citizen

USA is the world's largest oil producer yet oil is sold at high prices there.

And yes Americans complain.

Ghana too and Niger are oil producers yet petrol is expensive there

Saudi can afford subsidies for oil because they have 40 million people living on ten million barrels of crude a day. That means they can afford any subsidy.

Libya produces about the same as we do, and they have 8 million people. That is why they can afford subsides

E cost money to refine oil and the honest truth is that a country like Nigeria that is earning from just less than 2 m barrels a day cannot heavily subsidize oil without getting into debt.

So for the government to be useful, t-pain should announce that fuel is now N100 per liter, meaning we pay something like 900 Naira per liter in subsides, which are bound to rise, and which would leave a deficit in the budget which would have to be filled with.....more loans.

Then you will come and cry about those loans.

Yes, tinubu is taking loans, because his government is not serious about diversifying our economy....but subsides coming back would make the loan rate go higher than it is now.

In summary,

1. Dangotes production was threatening other players in the market.

2. His pricing model and marketing tactics was causing losses for the cabal and their cronies

3. NNPCL under the guise of preventing a monopoly continued the importation of products even though local production was sufficient.
4. To level the playing field for importers, the FG stopped selling crude in Naira to Dangote to force his prices upward to level the playing field for marketers of imported products who were wailing to the FG that prices was too low
5. The NNPCL continues importation to keep foreign refineries and blending plants belonging to top government officials in business. It also continues inportation to keep vessel owners and tank farm owners who are officials or cronies of officials in NNPCL happy!

Subsidy was a scam and it continues...

This clowns know what they are doing. If you notice any time a partial people are in the festivities or religious months, fuel and food prices crash but whenever christians enter their own season be it Easter or Christmas, prices skyrocketing beginning with fuel. Either they jack up the price or they hoard the product and cause scarcity
