Gurus, Any reviews on 1.5kva Nexus hybrid inverter?

Please is there a way i can reduce the voltage from pv from say around 100 - 90v to say around 70v (to the limit of my controller)?. Is there a dc to dc buck converter that is readily available that can do this?

I have been following this thread for a while. Just got some tools ready for my DIY.

My question is, which charge controller can I get that is suitable for lithium ion batteries. My set up is 3S10P mainly built for 4 DC bulbs.

How do I now run the inverter side ?

Just like any normal one. My 2nd battery isn't connected to the inverter but I guess you can also use a change over switch on it.

It's what I use. But if you intend to oversize your panels, you'd have to buy a charge controller. The maximum input voltage of the inverter is just 50v.

Please i need an installer that can help procure and install 7.5kva hybrid inverter and 15kwh battery and likely cost. Plan is to add panels later. Preferably someone who can do the setup this week. Location is around OPIC/Magboro axis

Have you gotten someone for this? What brand of inverter and battery do you prefer?

Is there a reason why 24V lithium batteries do not have usually have communication ports to inverters just like the 48V counterparts?

Get an editable cheap pwm and charge at say 3a. The set up is very small.

it's impossible for a standalone mppt charge controller. Even with the heavy rainfall I'm getting 55w here.

Unless you're using a hybrid inverter.

Does any know if Cworth has a 24v 3.8kwh battery? The ones I'm seeing are 12v.

Please what are the precautions that can be taken to avoid lightening damaging the solar panels and system. The building is an old apartment built in festac in the 70s.

Add a fuse between your DC breaker and DC SPD. Make sure your SPD has proper ground to divert the surge else it’s useless.
A fuse would help protect the SPD and prevent fire outbreak.

Lol, there's not a single peek of sunlight in the skies rn unfortunately. Voltage from panels isn't even up to minimum voltage.
