Ogunlesi is officially British, when Nigerian billionaires were being recognised by Nigerians on Twitter, him and Awotona were omitted because they are not officially Nigerians. We should continue maintaining that energy. What a shame.
So, a British man bears Ogunlesi?

China can't block it. Only the Panama Government can. The owner has actually been looking for buyers since and wanted American company to cash out big time.
It's a strategic asset to US but not to China. The Panama Canal is equally expensive to manage because it is an artificial channel so sometimes the water can be too low for navigation for long.

Last year and upper year, Reuters reported that there was a long drought and Panama Canal's water levels did not recover enough for long even as the end of the rainy season approaches and limits on daily transit and vessel. An American company can be compensated by the US government for such down time because it's a strategic asset but it makes no sense for China to compensate a Chinese company for that long period of drought.

The US Government may choose to buy it from BlackRock at high premium wink
The acquisition of the Panama port by Black Rock has been put on hold.

Blackrock should be barred from taking in more money from investors. They have become too big and are entering into areas they shouldn't just to dispense the cash.

Why are they buying individual homes or rental plots? Their presence here will inevitably lead to the pricing out of future homeowners.

An alternative is to bar them from certain forms of investments.
