Senator Natasha had planned a homecoming visit to her hometown, Ihima, in Kogi State. However, the Kogi State government banned movement in convoys, citing security concerns. Additionally, the chairman of Natasha's local government area was alleged to have imposed a curfew—a move many believe was a tactic to prevent her from receiving public attention. Known for her strong connection with the people, Natasha is widely loved and easily draws large crowds.

Despite these restrictions, the Senator made a dramatic entrance by arriving in her hometown via helicopter.

As soon as the Ebira people—her constituents—heard about her arrival, both men and women, young and old, began running for miles toward the venue, defying the curfew to welcome her.

Within minutes, a massive crowd had gathered to greet their beloved Senator.
Addressing the excited crowd in both Ebira and English, Natasha expressed her joy, saying:
